nismo34
Hi people, I have problem with me GTT's climate control. I did the auto diagnositic, the problem is with the ambient sensor. The error code is "21" with "auto" indicate there is a short-circuit. What does it mean?? Also when i check the temp reading from that sensor is 55 degree. I know there is soemthign wrong with it, can someone suggest on how to fix it?? Is it i got a faulty sensor or wire problems?? Help will be great. Thx.. NJR 34GTT
There was a thread on here that listed the actual error codes and what each one is. Can't seem to find it atm. I would suggest you check that the sensor is plugged in. Pretty simple for them to be disconnected which the climate control sees as a short circuit and causes it to not work correctly. Another thing, don't run the diagnostic mode under cover, has to be done outside with sunlight to work correctly. IanH
If you take out the heater controls there's a connection for the ambientsensor at the back - make sure it's connected (to get to the back of the heaters you'll have to strip the front panels like your replacing the stereo - http://www.r34gtt.net/r34howtoradio.html) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/78690-r34-problem-need-help/#findComment-1438278 Share on other sites
