This article was bought to my attention today & it seems its not only government agents that browse car forums.

http://www.theadvertiser.news.com.au/commo...255E910,00.html :tool:

Although, it doesn't normally happen on SAU (posting hooning pics, providing specific bragging details etc), it does happen on other popular public forums & even I’ve been guilty in the past for posting once in a brag section thread.

Hopefully, it won't have a huge repercussion for other car enthusiasts & web site based clubs :Paranoid:. It’s a pity coz, Adel recently had another large charity cruise, which was also organised to promote a non-hooning image to the public & better ties with the police (but that was wishful thinking).

While such illegal activites shouldn't happen in the first place, I hope I don’t need to remind you mature & responsible people of SAU it is somethin that we should keep in mind (more than before) before posting on any forums.

Please try keep the baggin of Commonwhores to a minimum, coz I already know how much affection we have towards them.

I watched this last night, I must say when the media needs a scapegoat, they dont have to look far with shit like that happening!

Bit like every organized car cruise (well the majority anyhow) there is always someone who does something.

I feel sorry for the commonwhore boys and girls, Im sure there are a few decent people, just morons doing shit like that, getting on the front page of the paper, is going to make it harder for EVERYONE not just falcadore drivers

All those days that say 'practice - cars, cars/bikes are open to the public, just need a helmets and basic safety equipment, like at the drags

I've heard that the open days are a little dangerous with everyone allowd on the track at once, and not the propper marshalling. I'm just realaying what someone relayed to me so who knows how accurate it is, damb chinese whispers

Not dangerous at all really, last time I was there it was a max of about either 5 or 8 cars for about 8 laps at a time, and they space you out. No overtaking on corners etc etc..

They are marshalled quite well, I think there where 3 or 4 lots around the track

Everyone is there to have a bit of fun, the quicker guys get past quite easily so its not like you get stuck behind someone to often. If you act like a tool, you will be black flagged

    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
