Urgent Need Help With 33gtst

hi all my mates having problem with his r33gtst 94 model he will b driving along then it wont boost and the dashlights/headlights will dull and hicas light and abs lights come on then the car dies we thought it could b the battery/ altinator so he got the altinator rebuilt and new battery but still the same problem anyone else had this problem help us out cheers

check the earth connections or connections to the alternator and battery. thats a shocker of a problem, i hate chasing them ones up.

When it cuts out is it gradual or motor just dies.

If gradual; it could be fuel pump, filter, etc

If sudden; it could be ignition, spark, etc

Check all connectors, earths, power, battery terminals(in boot), etc

Sorry not much help, but i am not a mechanic or an auto elec , just trying to shorten the list of possibilites.
