Added prices for Carbon Fibre speedo and tacho. Speedo only goes to 190km/h in the metric version don't know whether this helps, I'm guessing it wouldn't be too hard to get a Skyline over this speed :-)

Chris

I'm not too familiar what comes with the guages.

With the oil temp and pressure do they come with the required sensors?

I've seen some guages state (inc. oil pressure/temp sensor).

All gauges are supplied with:

Electrical:

1/8" electric sender & 1/4" NPT adapter fitting.

Mechanical:

6 ft. nylon tubing and 1/8" & 1/4" NPT fittings.

Some gauges will require wiring performed. e.g. Tacho, Electric speedo, A/F ratio gauge etc.

I checked out the Nexus gauges on the net, they look pretty hot but as they are new and my supplier doesn't stock them yet. My supplier is looking after me now that I have placed a decent order lol. When I originally asked him about discounts he didn't really want to offer me anything. I told him when ordering that I was ordering approx. 20gauges he was willing to talk business then.

Y0880 you requested the price for Ultralite series after CF don't know which you were querying but here goes:

Ultralite In Dash 5" Tachometer 0-10000RPM (non memory) $235

Ultralite In Dash 5" Speedometer 0 - 260KM/H $350

Carbon Fibre In Dash 5" Tachometer 0 - 10000RPM (non memory) $285

Carbon Fibre In Dash 5" Speedometer 0 - 160MPH $390

N.B. They don't make a KPH gauge in CF range in 5"???

Notes: Includes LCD Odometer with Trip function. (requires sender if car does not have one).

Hope this helps.

Chris

Thanks Chris, i'd confused myself going through the 100's of guages on their site

Can you put me down for:

CF in dash 3 3/8" Speedo (0-190km)

CF in dash 3 3/8" tacho (0-10,000)

CF 2 1/16" Air Fuel meter

let me know when it is all ready to go through

thanks mate.

The mechanical gauge uses a long nylon straw that connects from the oil sender location through the firewall and into the back of the gauge. If either end come loose you may lose all your oil. I'm not a fan of mechanical oil gauges. Just one more fitting to come lose and destroy an engine.

The electrical gauge comes with a screw in pressure sender unit that you hook up a wire to and run it to the back of the gauge.

C2 Boost 30 In. Hg/20 psi Mechanical - ATM-7107 $125

C2 Oil Pressure 0-100 psi Mechanical - ATM-7121 $110

C2 Oil Pressure 0-100 psi Electrical - ATM-7153 $120

Din box for them: Pan-001 $27.50

Chris

    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
    • Lock me in mate, although I'm not sure if I'll be heading up from Goulburn or down from Sydney, either way, return will be back to Goulburn
    • Sounds good, we will aim to be there! @The Bogan I'll give you a shout if you are heading up to campbelltown for the meet too.
    • Before I get to the test day, just to finish off the android head unit. This is a demo from car start up....the standard/host system takes a few seconds to boot (same as all v37) but Android comes up quickly. In this vid I'm using the delivered launcher but have set the default to Agami since which is easier to navigate when if use primarily 5 apps. You can see the host system still takes over when required eg putting it in reverse, and you can switch between Android and not by holding the back button 3 sec. It is pretty responsive (fast) but you can see I had to press harder than expected a couple of times.  I still have the phone connected to the stock system, and that also seamlessly takes over Android music playing. v37-android-demo.mp4 The bigger reason that I put this in though is so that I can use Ecutek directly on the head unit. That gives me a dash with logging (up to 20MB only), high and low value warnings on any parameter etc etc. I've run a USB cable from the Ecutek OBD dongle to a USB input on the unit, easy. v37-ecutek-demo.mp4   The unit did freeze on the launcher the other day, I think Agami was trying to verify the license when it didn't have a data connection...will monitor and report back if there are any other problems but so far I'm very happy with the upgrade.
    • Nah that is just crappy GPS mapping, I did have a small excursion (cold tyres, damp track, surprise!), will post up that when I get a chance.
