i reckon they rice every car and makes it look ugly

it should be rice and the ridculous back wif more rice den ever

they even riced the amercian cars. The lanevo has clear tailights like is200 omg how can they do that

well not meaning to dis the movie but just don;t like what they do to the car, its good to see a car movie though now and then.

absolutely loved the first, cant wait till this part 2 cums out.

its good to c that they have more skylines in this 1, and ofcourse a 180.

didnt c any evo's or rexies though.

should be good. heard vin diesel isnt in it though cause he was filming pitch black 2.

wouldn't it be awesome if nz and serious performance did a similar thing. Ketzal Sterling could finally act out his dream although the accent would stufff it. But imagine cars like flyen,osmans,ghhost,yume,try09,denzo's whole collection etc with a bit of a plot and a bit of drift wars and drag action. I guess I'll have to wait for that phone call for me to direct it hey!!!!!!!!!!

for starters the clear taillights were out in america LONG before they put them on the IS200

go hire out the movie Edward Scissor Hands and look at the wanker in its van.

i don;t have any thing against clear tailights

its just an evo is an evo it is already good the way it looks like you don;t see that everyday you wouldn;t go put clear tailights on a skyline gtr would you. It just wouldn't be a gtr we come to know.

although they have released an evo7 autotech or something along those lines which has auto transmission and clear tailights so yeh.

OH! MY! GOD!

Is that a neon tube in front of the intercooler on the R34? (see close up)

Oh great earth, open up and take me know!!

wtf is this world coming to. If that is a neon tube, the owner and however fitted it should be shot.

looks sorta yes and no.. who knows...

its some sort of honda in america which the person had converted into a skyline the front and back its a replica.

The lights just give an indication of what clear tailight skyline lights might look.

here is another skyline wanab.

But let's not forget that the neon tube in front of the intercooler can actually INCREASE the airflow thru the cooler - depending on what colour it is :bahaha:

I'm gonna guess that one of those 34's gets blown up. That's what they did in the last movie with the little green Eclipse. Made a couple that looked identical and blew 'em up...If they do it this time - it'll be a sad day...

I wonder how you can drive with your front windscreen covered top to bottom in stickers. :freak:

    • Yeah and hence my ghetto way of slamming the brakes, get the ABS to cycle, rebleed seems to be a sensible workaround.
    • Hey! Happy to help. Nothing inherently wrong with the adapter, it's more so with Brett Collins himself. He gave me a lot of incorrect information when I was in contact with him and was extremely rude when I challenged him. He stated I could not use any aftermarket twin plate clutches except for his own, not to use the dush shield, bla bla bla and it was all BS.  Collins stated to cut roughly 14mm's off the housing, I took off 15mm to make room for the dust shield. I would confirm with whatever adapter manufacturer you're using.
    • There's plenty of OEM steering arms that are bolted on. Not in the same fashion/orientation as that one, to be sure, but still. Examples of what I'm thinking of would use holes like the ones that have the downward facing studs on the GTR uprights (down the bottom end, under the driveshaft opening, near the lower balljoint) and bolt a steering arm on using only 2 bolts that would be somewhat similarly in shear as these you're complainig about. I reckon old Holdens did that, and I've never seen a broken one of those.
    • Let's be honest, most of the people designing parts like the above, aren't engineers. Sometimes they come from disciplines that gives them more qualitative feel for design than quantitive, however, plenty of them have just picked up a license to Fusion and started making things. And that's the honest part about the majority of these guys making parts like that, they don't have huge R&D teams and heaps of time or experience working out the numbers on it. Shit, most smaller teams that do have real engineers still roll with "yeah, it should be okay, and does the job, let's make them and just see"...   The smaller guys like KiwiCNC, aren't the likes of Bosch etc with proper engineering procedures, and oversights, and sign off. As such, it's why they can produce a product to market a lot quicker, but it always comes back to, question it all.   I'm still not a fan of that bolt on piece. Why not just machine it all in one go? With the right design it's possible. The only reason I can see is if they want different heights/length for the tie rod to bolt to. And if they have the cncs themselves, they can easily offer that exact feature, and just machine it all in one go.
