def not too common as most ppl dun like it, i rekon most common kits would be the trust gtr and 400r kits..

i presonally got th full VS kit

i've only seen 2 or 3 in the flesh and one of them is my mates which he recently swapped to the more common 400R. i mean on a skyline they are not as common as on a lancers and mayb silvias.

where do people buy kits from these days anyway, locally. wats their opinions on quailty and price. :)

where'd u got urs from MYSTR33 and for how much? ;)

also love the veilside style but due to costs (aka performance b4 style)

havent really looked into this yet

would be interested in what it costs to get the full 33 veilside (inc fit an paint)

no wing tho i wanna run witout

I've had a look the price start from around 1.5K not fitted and unpainted to bout 2.7K fitted and painted

i've only seen pics of this bodykit never seen one before so i thought i ask a few ppl.

Where can you get Veilside kits from in Perth?

Their kit for the V35 looks OK so I'd consider it when I get the car

Not sure about the rear wing though

im from NSW i got from jetspeed. www.jetspeed.com.au

my car is on the site advertising the veilside kit...

I was looking at just getting the VS rear bumber. I think that looks hot. The replica GTR version that is available for the GTS-T. I know that carmate do them as well as Jetspeed. Not sure about the fitting though...last thing you would want is a poorly fitting kit.

Going to match it with JUN sideskirts and the 400R front that I have on now. Hope it all looks good together :)

the VS rear bar does look very nice, only thing i dont like is how it sticks out under the lights, a nice flush design and the difuser style fins would make one hot rear bar.

Thats the only bit that concerns me. I haven't seen it in the flesh, but from the pictures the bumper does seem to sit out a lot from the line of the lights. Do you know the approx measurement of how far it juts out? It may make the car look a little odd, as the 400R front does not stick out that much. Do know of any other rear bumber that has the diffuser style fins that doesn't stick out so much? Wonder how much it would be to get a custome bumper made up that is like the veilside rear without the jutting out bumper...might have to email Jetspeed and see if they do that sort of thing.

i have a pic side on that shows how much it sticks out, ill try find it...

you can also get VS rear pods, which give you difuser style on either side.. not as good as the complete bar, but doesnt stick out..

edit: cant seem to find it.. this seems to be the best i can get a hold of..

Thats what I asked them about. Whether they can modify the veilside bumper so that it sits under the lights like the stock bumper does.

No reply from them yet...thought it was because it had enquiry from jetspeed website in the subject, but it was from fibrevision about the price of the vs bumper :) It was about $850 painted and fitted. Wonder what the price of a custom version would be :) Might be cheaper to go for another rear bumper and forget about the diffuser fins :O

    • I've looked up the parts number (41011AL501). It's around $700 OEM. Usually our Infiniti G35 here in Canada have interchangeable parts with my Stagea but the parts number are not the same. I have looked around and it seems the JDM 2005 V35 Skyline (which is the same as our G35) has the same caliper but I cannot confirm. And I can't find a repair kit. The inner brake pads drags on the rotor, seems to be rusty piston. Thanks for the info by the way
    • This coupled with 6-9 speed autos with ridiculously short gearing is why these modern shitbox cars always seem so fast off the line. If it wasn't for those things, Raptors would not seem fast. The problem we have is there is a driveability gap between a more gentle take off and a wheelspinning sideways launch. The difference between ankle flex required to achieve one and ankle flex required to achieve the other is about 0.5°.
    • Yeah I think I'm also with the opposite here. It's 'hard to keep up with traffic' because in the real world I'm accelerating with 15% throttle and they are pinning it. It feels like I'm being an overt dickhead at anything above 15% throttle, so the car sounds like I'm being an overt dickhead to keep up with/get ahead of traffic when I'm really just trying to drive with traffic. There would be no issue 'keeping up with traffic' if we used the same level of throttle input/aggression to drive around. People really do just drive around with their foot nearly pinned in econoboxes.
    • To be fair it's the other way around. 300kw is boring in a modern Golf or BMW. They are so competent / well-engineered / devoid of emotion that you have to go stupid fast to feel anything. Whereas the <300kw RB still makes all the right noises and it feels good to drive. Can pull off at the lights with the turbo whooshing and the blow-off pssshing and feel like the coolest kid on the block. Just don't look to the side where you'll see the bored housewifes in their shitbox Yaris/Corolla/Camry that kept up because you didn't go fast at all
    • 300kW is so boring in a Skyline, you'll get spanked by someone's mum's Golf with Alibaba pipes, and an email tune.
