hey

I went to a rim shop today to get a quote on the Lenso D1R rims

from previous post few pages back I was going to go with

front 18x9+32

rear 18x9.5+30

however they no longer make the 9.5's

which means id have to go with a 10inch for the rear to get flush

I'm hoping they still make the 18x10+36 as outer position like Alex said will be the same from the outside

but being a 10inch rim will it fit with no other modifications, I currently have coilovers (only wound down about 2cm all round so cars not low low just a nice height atm

also for tyre choice I'm thinking of going with ku36 245/35/18 front and 265/35/18 rear (as they don't make the 255 in the ku36)

what do you guys rkn about the tyre size choice? and if anyone can give some advice on the 10Inch rear rim would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Jason -PS I am going to go back tomorrow to find out for sure they make it in the 10+36

or what kinda work will i be lookin at to get 9 +15 on the rear....keeping in mind i dont want to run camber

yeah 265 is fairly big, but if i were to go with the 18x10+36 id need that cos dont wanna stretch the tyre and ku36 dont come in 255 unfortunatly, alternativly i can get ku31 and run 255 which should be fine aswell on a 10" rim, just thought 245 be a bit to small...

if 9.5+30 is flush wouldnt that mean the 9+15 will stick out of guards 9mm?

yeh but with natural camber of been low or some camber arms you can pull it back in its not really that much like 9mm.

245 isnt that stretched on a 10 it fits quite well actually, a 235 is fair stretched or lower.

fair point, i got a bit of natural camber atm with my coilovers just been fitted but gettin adjustable camber arms to fix that, as a daily drive i dont want camber wear on the tyres...if it wasnt a daily i wouldnt care that much.

but true 9mm isnt allot but cos i aint gonna run camber to tuck it in rules out that size rim for the rear

lets just hope they make the 10+36 which is pretty much flush hopefully it wont hit anything behind the wheel for being too wide and just wrap it in 245s or 255s , because the wheel arc is goin to sit above the wheel so dont think rolling the guards or flareing should be an issue...or will it?

not to worry went back to the rim place cant get them sizes, looks like ill just go with the 9+32 all round which should only stick in 8mm which isnt that bad its pretty much almost flush

but thanks to everyone who helped me

go the 265's.

iv got 265's on my 18x9.5's and they are only just 'flush witht he rims'. So on a 10 inch rim they will me starting to go towards stretched, let along a 245 etc.

Im actually about to throw a 275 on as a replacement this weekend. Ill let you know how that goes on a 9.5..

thanks for the reply guys but the offset for a 10inch cant get to fit my car, so im getting

front 18x9+32

rear 18x9+32

i want to get kumho ku36 they come in 235, 245 and 265 they dont make the 255

what would my better option be 245 front and 265 rear?

go for some staggered fitment.

common staggered fitment is 8s n 9's or 8.5 n 9.5

iv got the latter with 235 n 275. Loves it and the handling is epic with a little lower, little stiffer (8kg-F, 6kg-R) little camber n adjustable damper. Put the power down real nice with 225kwatw...

Just about to buy set of new Lenso D1R rims for my 32GTR

I don't like stretched tyres on rims so looking for right size rims to sit flush with guards without any part of tyres or rims poking out so thought i'd ask you guys your opinions

I can get these 2 sizes which i think would be right for a 32GTR

18x9 +15

18x10 +22

Would the 10" rims fit both front and rear on these cars without poking out?

Now in saying this i don't like the look of stretched tyres either so i would need something around 265 or bigger right?

Don't mind running staggered fitment either as long as all fits under guards

Any help appreciated as want to get it right first time

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
