BTW i've never heard them called parking wands before. thanks for your help Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/86744-what-the-hell-does-this-do/#findComment-1568047 Share on other sites
sewid
This picture shows an R33 with factory option parking wand installed in the front bumper. That is what your car has (well it has the switch at least). dezz
ahhhhhh i see they should make it come out sticking out forward, and make it something soft and retractable, that way as u get closer to the car in front, it pushes in and makes a chime or something like that Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/86744-what-the-hell-does-this-do/#findComment-1568371 Share on other sites
mike lowry
i'll just add that to the list of things the car used to have. there are plugs and wires going all over the place but don't plug into anything! there are even plugs under the front seats that look like the original seats were powered. oh well thanks for your help guys Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/86744-what-the-hell-does-this-do/#findComment-1569354 Share on other sites
SirSkyline
I got a switch there in my 33 but mine turns off the head lights when you come to a complete stop after 3-5 seconds, so if i flick it to off the heads lights don't turn off when I stop Edited September 7, 2005 by SirSkyline Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/86744-what-the-hell-does-this-do/#findComment-1569446 Share on other sites

The seat belts get changed with cheap ones as part of compliance.
