hahaha... hey Paul, hope you can box before you come jumpin in this ring.. some of us actually get dirty and fix things other than intercooler pipes.. Not all of us just go to the biggest name brand store and say "Fit this, that and some of them !!...what ever it costs..!"

:shake:

yeah the test came up good.. 150psi in all cylinders.. so the bad news is that it is probably the turbo after all.. so i'm startin to look a litle harder now.

i know the car can withstand a thrashing geez said helpless not hopeless haha ;) But even tho its not worthy of the track in my opinion - haha im a perfectionist fellas its gotta be right!

I can get dirty, just ask Troy, he stood and watched me get stinky diff oil all over me, I think it was a turnon for him.

If the compression test is good then at least your ring lands and valves should be OK, just have to look at the turbo now. It was about time for a bigger one anyway.

Yeah, me starring in a porn movie, I can see that:lol:

Osc@r, My mate has a GT2535 on his SR20 and it pulls hard from just over 2300rpm, and has got about 340rwhp at 1.2bar, if your interested then I can get you a price.

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
