I met John once or twice his name rings a bell the Army guys did it as a full time job we only sat in for our courses so the Navy troops had a Navy staff member there.

i think i saw a video of that set up with the camrys once when we were look into contracting out driver training for the services

yea we were trying to pick up the forces when they were looking at Privitisation.

Unfortunately there were too many white shirts upstairs with too much to lose and too many hidden agendas.

Ken,

I was impressed by the way Micko's handles, and yes I will buy a GTR, but probably not just yet. My appendage is bigger:p

See'ya:burnout:

Dude if you were impressed with the handling you wanna ride in one with a real driver at the helm - take a spare pair of jocks though:D

anyway , enough of the reminiscing and hanging shit ( and probably washing ) on pwptf 's appendage.

The bootlid would fit a complete load on.

His personal one would just hold a gstring and a very small peg

Cheers

weiners anyone ??

ture everyone was trying to protect there own interests in the end its all gone to crap now i hear nothing but bad stories - a mate of mine is the contact manager for Navy Driver training in Melbourne he stops by for a beer whenever he flys in.

Yes , ain't that the truth.

We almost got the W A police to use them for training but some spanker SGT could see his job disappearing and canned it.

Govt f**ing dept's. Spent 1,000's on vids , professional resume's etal and in the end nothing has come of it after about 8yrs.

Got out cos I didn't need the head f*ck and the heart attack

Cheers

broke but happy

    • Heh. I copied the link to the video direct, instead of the thread I mentioned. But the video is the main value content anyway. Otherwise, yes, in Europe, surely you'd be expected to buy local. Being whichever flavour of Michelin, Continental or Pirelli suits your usage model.
    • Continental have consistently beaten the absolute shit out of every other performance tyre in Wet/Damp/Cold conditions and give up a little bit of time (half a second at most) in the dry. Almost like it's engineered for German conditions or something. I'd def give those a try.
    • I refer you to this thread on PF, by someone who knows what he's doing. Paints a good picture of the humble AD09.
    • Ha, I've never pressed the X in all these years incase it removed the notification for all Admins
    • I don't know, I've never done it that way, but 1. While it is an interference engine, there is still clearance between the valves and the piston at all points in the regular timing cycle 2. There is not a lot of distance before you can't catch the top of the valve stem any more I don't know if 2 is greater or less than 1. But 3. If it doesn't work out you are f**ked, engine is coming out to disassemble so it is a big bet.
