well someone had a shitload of money cos my mechanic was doing one when i was there last - he was asking why i wanted to put more power in my car etc and i told him to blow away cars that piss me off and i happened to mention hondas really shit me when we got back tot he workshop he pointed to this R and said - I dont suggest u give that one a go :)

but then again even old NSX is sell over $60k :)

too expensive... I rather have Porche 996 or 911 turbo for that Price.

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
