caminperth
troy - sounds ok.. just the $$ is the killer at the moment.. just spent a heap on my holiday and on the car.. which led to melting the clutch.. hehehe... extra hours at work for me for the next few weeks.. *sigh* Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8821-whoretown-wa/page/1979/#findComment-305449 Share on other sites
caminperth
tryo - yea - think i'll end up getting autoclutch just to reface the stock one.. can't justify $1500 at the moment... if it had only lasted till next month!!! doh... GTS-t VSPEC
Cam, It will be ok for a while, just don't get it hot, and keep the revs low. See'ya:burnout: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8821-whoretown-wa/page/1979/#findComment-305453 Share on other sites

caminperth
paul - i know.. think i'll just limp around for a few weeks then get it done... may as well wait a week or two to get $$ for the flywheel and get it done properly the first time... GTS-t VSPEC
Cam, Stick with the 9puck for the time being, if you up the turbo then think about a better clutch:D See'ya:burnout: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8821-whoretown-wa/page/1979/#findComment-305456 Share on other sites

GTS-t VSPEC
9 puck is smooth and easy, 5 puck is harder but will hold more, twin-plate is best:D See'ya:burnout: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8821-whoretown-wa/page/1979/#findComment-305464 Share on other sites

A 9 puck is a lighter clutch, a 5 puck is more than likely going to last longer ....... and a twin plate is slightly heavier than a 5 puck ...
