Liz,

http://www.auspost.com.au/BCP/0,1080,CH213...57EMO19,00.html

CoD is essentially set up for businesses which dont have an account with someone and cbf setting one up to send one invoice - so they do it via CoD.

I dont really know what the ramifications of not picking it up might be - call someone at Aus. Post and ask them. Presumably if its not signed for and not delivered and not paid for the sale doesnt happen and the onus is on the sender. Which is why some companies dont like CoD.

As far as I can figure, the point of sale is when you pay Aus Post for the item. up until then there is not formal contract to buy established and no exchange of goods has taken place.

haha yeah love being home by myself too - hmm well not completely by myself more fun if theres someone to snuggle with but hmm looks like its just me and the cat my good cooking and a bottle of red tonight ;)

no wazzas Russ,

just always see Skylines around and wonder "hmmmm, imagine if I actually knew that guy!"

there's about 6 that live near me that I see when I go running and I always wonder......

so next time im around riverton way and see a S2, I'll be a-wavin'. and the guy in the other skyline will think I'm some kind of friggin' weirdo.

and he's probably right..

    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
    • For DBA, check out their guide table here. https://dba.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Direct_Replacement-Guide-2021.2.pdf   Additionally they have some other guides and info on how to make sure you choose the right pad.
    • Sorry, just assumed that talk of coloured pads meant EBC red/green/yellow/shit stuff. I don't know the DBA pads, but it's a reasonable bet that they will be OK. DBA make good stuff generally. Those 4000 series rotors I linked to are very good. I may well replace the RDA rotors I have with those when required.
