Bel my ex was salesrep and we worked together .... so half ur theory is proven .... but still i can understand the bullshit they go thru after all the tyrekicking dreamers i had look at my ZX .... after a while u get sooo sick of it. Besides they arent there to be nice - they are there to make money like the rest of us.

Oi Liz wanna go drifting in Marks drift pig :) ...... invitations there gurl haha :)

haha they are so expensive for a piece of rubber ..... mine werent tightened enough and they squeeled for ages - u could here my car starting from a block away!!

hehe i did a bit of a drift round a corner today .... well the back end was sliding out slightly ..... think the guy in the car beside me was a bit shocked - specially when my front end starts to face his side door haha ..... that was fun :)

yeah true - but i dont know anyone that can be happy to see people 24/7 ......

hehe it was actually me that used to go angry at the salesreps .... they were constantly feeling my wrath ...... they are such idiots sometimes! they try to bend the rules for a sale and therefore made my life very difficult!

My car has a better power to weight cos I dropped an rb25det into an r32 which weighs much less (and its been slightly weight reduced-weighs about 1240kg now). Also your diff gear ratios are different, r32's have 4.3:1, =Quicker acceleration. Theres heaps you can do (without increaasing power) to make your car heaps quicker.

yeah i have lost it quite a few times in the ZX .... im more careful in the Skyline ..... cos i bent something in the ZX .... castor rods or something like that from losing it into a ditch ..... and it doesnt handle as well because of it.

haha Liz sounds like when i just had my R33 and talking to Gavin at work and he goes lift the bonnet cos i could do some cheapo things to make it faster for ya ..... then he discovered the bleed valve ..... didnt even know i had one when i bought it :)

    • R34DE as in R34 with an RB25DE? So did you get this? Or you planning to?  I'm not really sure what you're saying.
    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
