but im not .... as i said ... why take him to court ... no witnesses .... my word against his .... and im a bit shaky on some of the details cos it just all happened to quickly.

Mel's ok .... like me - would liek to do something more interesting but put ups with it for the sake of an income.

im back guys

Niz i just spoke to my mate from REVS and this is what he had to say.

"the only people that have personal details pertaining to car regos are either

the police and the department of planning and infrastructure, revs only obtains

these details if the car is encumbered and even then we would need the engine

and chassis no.

tell your friend, the first thing she should do is go to the cops as a hit and run is

a serious offence, one that cannot be classed as a spent conviction, there is no

way she could lose a lawsuit against the hit and runner "

you HAVE to do this.

today if possible. even if you ring them and let them know. then you can make a proper report at the cop shop later.

apart from anything, he could have made a counter claim that you crashed into him. witnesses or otherwise, if the nett damage to both cars exceeds $1500, then the driver which caused the accident can be liable for criminal charges.

therefore, you need to go and tell them everything you know. especially seeing as he did a ruinner.

PLUS, because he hit you, if you find that your car is more fuxxed than you think, you will need to have made a police report for any court proceedings OR EVEN INSURANCE CLAIMS.

takes 1 call - do it now. or I'll spank your bottom.

Ok well that cop shop in east perth ....u know the big one that handles all the infringements .... reckon i could do it there? do it in my lunchbreak tommorrow or sumthin.

we both left the scene of the crime ... couldnt very well stay in the middle of a busy intersection and battle it out could we but i parked by a side street and waited for him .... he didnt show .... so i went in further and got my car outta everyones way and then started calling everyone.

      Got my 34 gtt tuned last week. Cat made 362 wheel horsepower at 19 psi. Turbo was the ATR43SS. Only other upgrades were haltech 2000 series. 650cc injectors, walbro 250, fmic. Pro hub dyno reads 6% lower than actual figure according to my tuner. Car is a real ripper now.  IMG_7261.mov

      Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone in Melbourne (preferably West) has a non-S2 R34 front bar. If it's already off the car, even better!  Nothing too weird, I just need to get a cut-out of the hole that the front indicators clip into 🤣 (image attached for reference)   I've got a front bar from JSAI Aero, but those holes need to be cut myself, and I want to get it right so the indicators will clip securely. And my OEM bumper is a S2, so I have no reference. So looking for a member who might be able to spare me a few minutes to make a cardboard cut-out using your front bar.

      Not sure what you mean by electronic speedo drive.  Speedo reads fine up to 180 yes.

      For anyone interested, this is my old graph from 2021, but I've plotted the previous setup curve onto it with a black pen. old setup was: pon cams, oem itbs and plenum, HPI manifold, hks 2835 pro S .87ar rear, Turbosmart actuator, 3" turbo back no res. or cat., greddy spec M fmic, nismo 740cc inj, walbro in tank 460, splitfires, 4" intake pipe, Apexi pod, e85, eboost2, power Fc. I love that the new setup has much larger turbo spec with the HTA3076 1.01ar Ts rear, and literally everything is bigger, but far higher quality and result is it's FAR more responsive in paper.
