Lee! you going to Ministry??????

we are going too :D (me n my friends)

yeah lots of yummy ways to do chicken - i lurve the Fillet Mignons you get from lenards .... chicken rapped in bacon with lots of garlic butter :drooling: ..... ok lets stop talking about food now!

cool :D

my parents go away this weekend ...... always nice to have peace n quite.

Although mums going to renovate my room .... Nooooo. If you can call it a room - i call it a box that you can only fit a bed in .... she just bought this bloody big wardrobe and i told her phucking plenty of times .... i dont need a wardrobe - none of my clothes hang .... but she went and bought one anyway GRRRRRRRR whichis going to make my dog box even smaller and messier cos i wont hang up my clothes.

least he's 16 with his own life - could be worse - he could be 10!

mmmmm ten days of peace ...... i used to get 10 days of peace but they nolonger go down to bunbury as much as they used too ..... maybe summer they will.

Where did ya dad go?

I have a friend whos parents have split ..... dad works on an oil rig somewhere ..... my friend and his sister get flyed up to phuket etc to have holidays with their dad which the company pays for.

Has a great time while he's up there.

well i better start looking for another job cos this one is finishing up on the 31st and it doesnt look like its going to be renewed - which is fine i need a change and theres a lot of 3 month etc temp assignments being advertised at the mo.

no holiday pay .... no sick pay ..... but you do get around $16/hr+

it feels like a fulltime job - been here since February. Most of my fulltime jobs only last 7 months til i get sick of them anyway.

But its good new faces etc - to know that if you dont like it then you will be leaving shortly ...... always a shame ot lose the job when you do like it tho.

All weekend .... in my skanky gear ....... & then @ the afterpartay.

yeah longest ive been in a job was two years ...... i just hate it when i feel like im stuck and going nowhere!!

Temping gives me a nice looking resume :D

haha Kyles rang me (on of the other girls) last night and she goes ..... i just wore the skirt im wearing for PAS down the shop - i got at least 4 toots ...... 3 wolf whistles and i guy missing his green light cos he was too busy perving haha.

I dont know what im wearing for bottoms yet .... more likely my demin shorts i got in Queensland haha ..... but theres a couple of other things i wanna try .... whatever works best.

    • Thanks man, I appreciate that. I'll keep it in mind going forward, important to know.
    • I strongly recommend anyone playing with cars chasing anything electric, get a basic understanding of using a DMM, and about 12V DC systems. They're REALLY easy, you only need to know V=IR and how to apply it, and you can work out what your readings should be doing. For a simple check on a light bulb, you're looking for 12V at the positive to the light, a near zero resistance to ground, and then for a small resistance across the globe when unplugged. If one of those values isn't right, you won't get what you need. Now if they're all okay, and you then plug the light in, and it still won't work, you now do a voltage check across the globe positive to negative. It should effectively read full battery voltage. If it's not, especially if it's quite low, the age old V=IR starts to be able to be thought about, you now know though, for the current flowing, there isn't much voltage for the given resistance, but the rest of that V has to be dropping somewhere else. So now do a voltage check from ground of globe, to ground of car, then do voltage check from positive of battery, to positive of the light connector. Things like a high resistance in a wire/join will start to "steal" voltage on you. So now step back through which ever wire, until you find the voltage drop is non existent, you're now before what ever is steal your voltage for example.   There's plenty of YouTube videos, but really worth understanding some V=IR, and doing some even theoretical numbers to start to understand it. Then you'll know what the DMM is telling you.
