R33 Boost/fuel Cut

recently installed an AVC-R in my R33 Skyline (stock turbo, ecu) running it on setting b as 7psi and setting a as 12psi and am encountering that engine is spluttery trying to run 12 psi

do i need a fuel cut defender or is somthing not running right ?

sounds like stock ecu boost, try it at 10psi see if it still occurs. stock ecu has protection when it detects too mcuh airflow, commonly known as boost cut. you can get a

fuel cut defender

safc

aftermarket ecu

remapped stock ecu

to correct the problem
