it was a coupe. Pretty clean and well looked after. His tune is fairly above stock cause of the puffs of smoke on gear changes.. must be running something half decent running more fuel through it.. But yeh cant remember the exacts cause i was pissed at the time. And for the VL i was in with a f**ked auto it didnt go too bad against him.. we didnt try stall it up and take of hard cause of the poor auto. But meh.. just trying to found out more about it

look zaffa time for rant u f**king wank:

Ok.. since im registered on a SKYLINE forum.. its generally accepted that I drive a skyline right?.. so WTF AM I DOING DRIVING A CLAPPED OUT VL??

I was NOT the one driving. My SOBER mate was driving, I was in the passenger seat, hence how I asked the driver what he was running. I would NEVER drink drive cause I know how bad it is. SO GET UR FÜCKING FACTS RIGHT U SEWER RAT.

/end rant

edit: Its amazing how misconstrued the information can be. All I want to know is what was done to the R31.. some people these days.. damn...

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
