Hey all,

interested in appearing in Ignition Multimedia DVD Magazine?

Our friends from Ignition, in Collaberation with Mallala, GTAutosound, and D1 Garage have asked us at nissansilvia.com to find some of adelaides hottest cars for their Adelaide Feature...

And i know SAU members have some extremely nice cars getting around, so make sure you head on down!!!

we are preferably wanting the HOTTEST cars we can find . That means Clean, Kit, Wheels, hot engine, nice paint or all of the above would be a minimum wink.gif.

We will be featuring mainly along west terrace, which includes, BP, Shell/freedom, Australia's Pizza house, and the carpark out the back as well as Rundle Street and Hindley if we have time. The main idea behind it is to capture adelaides cruising hotspots, and capture the vibe of the adelaide car scene.

We will be there friday night, am guessing from around 10pm onward...

Saturday is a full day as well, obviously starting off the the G1 drift comp, which goes throughout the whole day, however dont expect your night to end there, as ns.com / ignition DVD are pleased to bring you the next Megacruise, starting at Ingle Farm Car park, at 10:30....

All are welcome to this cruise : lets try and beat the last one and get over 200 cars this time!!!!

see you all there!

i just got back, went to the meet spot at ingle farm, lighting was too shit to do the filming so went to TTP undercover carpark for it and got interrupted by cops who started sussing out a few cars and then pretty much told us to piss off, so as far as i know the cruise is still goin now, i pissed off after that, cops followed the cruise so will be all over it i reckon, was ok turnout, easy 40 or 50 cars i reckon.

Luke.

and the R33 skyline "mutz" leaving the carpark at inglefarm sideways being a hero.... then promptly sending it over the gutter and taking the front of the car off in all of 30 seconds... hmmmm not good mav....

whoops?

well there was no one but this guy to blame.... he promptly smashed it over the curb taking out what looked like both front wheels, suspension etc etc etc front bar, you name it!

I only turned up to see if SA actually had any GTR owners! hmmmm and there were 2 others

it was worth the laugh to just see some of these idiots!

You generally won't see many GTR owners at these types of cruises - as has been proven there is always some young hero P plater who wants to show off and either turns up his stereo getting everyone defected (like the last NS.com cruise I want on and we got trapped at Newton), or smashes into other cars being a d!ckhead. Now no-one is perfect (least of all me), but it seems there are a spate of accidents every sinlge time.

Wait for the big cruise to Victor Harbour (for paintballing or go-karting) I am planning for late-November, and you'll see some quality cars come out!

There used to be a Paint balling place down at Deep Creek Conservation Park? A decent drive.

A pitty more of us don't have tents (not that they are expensive), could have a bit of paint balling, stay the night have a bomb fire, bbq and beers.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
