hahahahah, i thought about putting this in wastelands, but then again i think everyone should have a laugh about this and it is kinda general auto discussion..

watching the late 10 news and apparently there have been 15 Hyundai excel trashings recently!! just targeting excels!!! ahahahahaha :bahaha: Mainly jumping up and down on bonnets and roofs, slashing tyres. but wait there's more... they then do a close-up of a car they think the offenders are driving and it's this riced up lancer with Evo rear wing, exhaust tip and clear rear lights... "police believe the offenders are driving a car with rear lights similar to these.... *close up of rice lights*"

AHAHAHAHHAHAHA  :bahaha:

watch out guys, it's the RICE WARS!!!! ahahahahha

sorry if no-one else thinks this is funny, but i thought it was bloody helirious!!

Dont get me wrong - i hate rice as much as the next guy but i dont believe in vandalism of other people's property. Not everyone has high asperations of owning a Skyline and some people can barely afford it like me ($0.30/km to run atm!!) but either way someone has probably worked hard for their Excel so its not good news for them.... still i can see the funny side cos they're really sh#itty cars!!!

I like the F&F3 idea hahaha good one INASNT!!!

lancer guy prob saw one of the many hotted excels and thought what a tool, u know the ones, with big wings etc and $1000s spent on em, i mean sure, these people who spend any money on an excel should have their car burnt to the ground but who is the lancer guy to talk, done up excels are prob the gayest things on the rd, but a close 2nd is all the lancers with evo kits and lexus copied lights, who do they think they're foolin.........:shake: :chairshot

keca18: I am soooooo with you on the fog light thing! When I come across it I sit up their ass with my highs on! So many idiots just don't know when to use their fog light. Most of 'em drive excels! I miss my Astra when I do come across it, 'cause the Astra had a fog light so I'd overtake them and then turn mine on to get even!

I thought the funniest thing about the news article was that they said the police didn't know why these Mitsu ppl were targeting excels! Maybe if they asked somone other than an excel driver!!!

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
