Hi guys,

HKS Intercooler

Blitz Pod Filter with cold air intake, and partition

Apexi S-AFC (blue screen)

Turbosmart duel stage Boost Controller (with missile switch)

Endless Brake Pads

Slotted/drilled rotors

Speco Boost gauge

Stock wheels with around 80% tread

Razo TT

Zeal Adjustable (height/damper) coil over suspension

Excedy heavy duty clutch

Aesthetic Mods:

GTR front bumper and grill

Double bladed adjustable rear wing in silver (ill miss this the most :) )

Hornet Alarm/immobiliser

Momo Commando steering wheel

SRacing mats

Polished engine bay (very clean)

slimline plates

Razo pedals

Narva Arctic white lights

The car has always been serviced at 5,000k's (or under) with Motul oils, and recently Mobil 1.

It has 177rwkw with the Apexi S-AFC just tuned.

I have had the radiator fully flushed recently, and a new AFM installed.

I wash it nearly every weekend inside and out and polish it every month.

It is in immaculate condition inside and out, except for a few tiny stone chips under the side skirts which i am fixing this weekend with touch-up paint.

Its always been garaged and hardly ever driven in rain.

To sum it up, it gets treated better than my girlfriend, so Ill only sell it to someone who is a true skyline enthusiast.

Im asking $26,000 ono.

Either respond to this post, email me at [email protected] or ring me after hours on 03 50241419

Pics will follow

Andrew.

ps. for more better pics, give me your email and Ill send them to you.

JHLSKYLINE: Ummmmm Sorry thats a bit low for what I was wanting. Ive had offers so far of $24k and $25k. It will be in the next issue of Unique Cars too. So if you can match those offers soon, then I might be able sell it to you.

Grim: I will email pics/details etc to him tonight or tomorrow morning as they are all at home. Is your mate interested in buying?

From the photo's the car looks in absolute grade 4-4.5 condition. With the list of aftermarket parts listed and the power output of that car $25k is an absolute bargain. I bought a dead stock car from japan (which is what I wanted cos I wanted to do the mods myself), but after dropping $1k on the exhaust, another $1200 on the boost controller and easily another $1k on other small bits and pieces (pod filter, gauge pillar mount, HKS boost gauge), it makes sense to buy a car with the fruit as you pay a lot less than doing it yourself. Now I'm at the point where I want a front mount intercooler and I am scaring myself with the price of japanese bolt on kits, nothing under $1700 + freight + fitting (so probably around $2500 fitted and freight). Just my 2 cents worth about buying parts :)

Rob

thanks for your input Rob.

Im still surprised I havent had much interest in it for $25K. I also have some pictures of it when it was on show in Autobarn if anyone would like them.

I will try and downsize them and post them here later.

Andrew its not that your car is dear. Its probably a decent price considering the mod list but people who buy Skylines alot of the time will buy one less modded and cheaper for around 18k and then start modding the car themselves later on.

Your car is fine. Stick to your guns and keep on trying and you will find the right buyer sooner or later.

    • Hi GTSBoy, Excuse my ignorance but what does a "Bad" Knee point mean ?
    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
