R34 Standard Cd/tv

Having major problems with the standard TV/CD.

The cd player just keeps trying to read cds and never does anything else.

I can't even eject the cd.

Last week I got it to work by taking it all apart and removing the power connector, putting it back and hitting eject at the same time...out came the cd which has the nav data on it.

Put in a normal cd and it played fine and the tv would pop up and everything...until I turned off the car and then it went back to reading the cd over and over again and the tv controls won't respond.

This week tried the same thing I got it to eject but it wouldn't read when I put it back in and then won't eject again using the same trick.

Tried cleaning the lens but hasn't done anything

Has anyone had a similar problem and found a way to fix it?

I thought i might be pressing the wrong buttons (most in japanese) but I doubt it's that.

Edit:

With the car turned off the cd continues to spin, don't know for how long but I left it for about 30 mins and was still doing it.
