Hey there Blitz Boy.

I haven't sold the car as yet.

I have had 2 people come out and look at it from this forum,

both people have said it's the best looking 33 they have ever seen,

but they also gave stupid offers of 20,000 and the other bloke said he would take it off my hands for 18,000.

I need to get rid of it, but remember, pay peanuts and you'll get monkeys!

great looking car mate.

but you can get an r34 gtt for 28k nowadays. And unfortunenately not everyone can apprectiate your model is basically an r34 being a 98

it has to be worth 20-21k all day everyday though. Dont sell for any less.

In saying that if i was in the market for a car id probably pay what your asking for it as its a clean example of the last of 33.

dont sell it just wait till you got your licence back. You wont be able to replace a car like that for the money you will be selling it for.

Thanks guys, you are right, its is a clean 33 man, brilliant.

I understand you can get a 34 for that sort of price. - But i guess what it comes down to is - does someone want an average condition 34 and pay 28, or a clean, smick 33 for 25?

Most people would take the later model - the new shape, i completely understand, i'd love a 34!!!

Whoever the buyer is, there lucky, that is a superb looking car, just neat simple and good looking. I think $23k was quite a bargain for it being a 40th ann. edition.

thanks starion turbo, it was the best car that i have ever owned, and one of the best skylines that i have seen.

i'll be sad to see it go! - but the money is always nice 2!

ah f***! I was thinking of coming and having a look at it on sunday - oh well, reading the posts, probably wouldnt have made a difference as I have only 18grand to play with. Nice looking r33 - gotta say that....

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
