The Ks are just too high for me @ $16000

That is the feedback I want - how much should we be expecting to get for a car with these k's I cannot get this information from anyone?

Hi,

Ummmmm, if ur still looking for sites to put your car in, try carsales.com.au, drive.com.au and carpoint.com.au

I'm pretty sure that it only cost $10 to put it in each site and this includes 5 photos that you can change all the time to keep your cars look updated, lots of character space and pretty much a good exposure.

Also if you take a look at any of this sites you maybe able to get an idea on how much you should be selling your car. eg there is a 95 skyline in carsales with 95,000km going for $15,500 negotiable.

hope that helps

75coupe - I would have thought the k's that this car has done would be fairly normal for a 2002 import considering the k's travelled in Australia? Atleast these are legit k's anyway.

Thanks for the advice guys - I have the car on most of those sites but not even a glimpse it appears - I am sure if someone approached us we would accept around the 15K for the car if that is all it is truly worth but it is so hard to judge now a days.

As I say - if anyone wants to make an offer to me that they think is fair - go for it!!!!!! :P

BTW - if anyone wants better pics or more specific detail please PM me. I cannot get the pics of this machine but can arrange to have them forwarded to you. The specific detail I can get on request.

Pricfe Drop - $15000 ONO

My partner and I would like to sell this car and he is willing to advertise at $15K but is still open to negotiation.

This is an amazing special but with 4 cars in the driveway for 2 drivers having the car just sitting there is a waste!

shame my 10K budget doesn't stretch that far... nice looking car though...

K

Sorry I cannot help in the budget :D I would love to just sell the car but we were told it was worth 18K so dropping to 15K with negotiation I think is the best we can do.

dont take this the wrong way, but a stock series 1 with 150,000kms is not worth 18k.

That is why it is no longer being advertised as that but I could only go by what I was told when I started advertising - I think I am in the right ball court now - well I hope anyway.

I have been given a suggestion to take the car to Fowles Auction group as they are able to Auction the car at your reserve and will value the vehicle.

Does any one have any experience/feedback on this?

Me again, the car has been valued by Fowles and the valuation was very much around asking price - but I do agree that it is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it - although I do get to set the reserve!

We have missed this week's Auction booking but will try and put the car into Fowles for next weeks auction. I will set a reasonable reserve for the auction but I will be happy to sell the car at a negotiated price below what we are currently asking prior to Auction if anyone wishes to discuss - will save me the hassle with Fowles but otherwise I will post again when the car is booked in with the auction details for those that are interested.

I may get less but as I set the reserve I can choose to sell or not. They went through the prices that they have had recently for R33's and they were very much within our accepted sale price that we have in mind.

I bought my r33 94, gunmetal manual (77,000 kms) 13 mnths ago.

Car in immaculate condition, with cat back 3 inch exhaust, 350z rims, hks pod, full gtr kit, good rubber, exedy brass button clutch, full suspension kit including kyb struts, some low jap coils, polyurethane bushings everywhere.

Sale price $18,900. That was two 13 mnths ago. I saw more cars with more mods for money, but this was straight as and i could tell by the condition and the results of the compresion test that kms were genuine.

May give you some idea of what your car is worth

Thanks for that. We have gone from one extreme to the other with the value of the car so I am sitting at 15K open to negotiation as the car is in great nick and drives beautifully also with 6 months rego to go. I am willing to go less but based on the recent valuation and how much the auctions have told me they would get me I am pretty on the mark. Thanks agian though.

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
