Paint Stripper And Plastic Parts

How do i go about it? Is it a no-go zone?

I have a GT-R lip which has been touched up about 100 times since it was made back at Nissan and i want to take it back to plastic, prime and paint it properly

Any tips? I'm worried about melting or pitting the lip with something harsh like paint stripper, should i be sanding it all the way back?

Might be late but I wouldn't use normal paint stripper on plastic. You can get a plastic safe paint stripper from auto paint suppliers.

Or bathe it in brake fluid. You'll need to leave it for a few hours/days but it works a treat.

Yet to try anything as i'm still worried

Will contact local paint shop and see if they can sort me out with some plastic safe stuff
