Na, Jez just told me I can't run high boost like I wanted to.

Just fitted 570's and E-manage , he reckons the stock intercooler is holding it back.

I want to run over 20 psi but it's tuned at 16 as there's high risk of detonation.

219 rwkw though,on a safe tune , that was actually my goal.

It appears there's a fair bit more there if I want it, ... hmmm tempting

re: slim a/c fan.

Can I get any universal slim fan ?

Supercheap auto...

Any tricks I need to know about this install ?

cheers

Yes, any universal fan is fine.

No tricks; just make sure it's turning the right way.

So looking at stock front bumper, only has 100mm slot for air to reach the intercooler.

Looking at the height of them they are around 300mm.

I'm thinking the front bumper restricts airflow .

Will the HDI GT2 pro really make a difference with the small air duct ?

Can't seem to find any front spoilers anywhere for M35.

Thinking of cutting a huge area to expose the HDI completely.

Anyone else done this ?

Gialla has good ducts only looks a bit bulky on the sides.

Aero is the best solution on these by far; just buy it.

i don't think there is much difference if you can DIY with stock bumper for the lower grill. but i'd say aero bumper is much beautiful.

what i am worry about is the big FMIC will block air flow to the poor radiator. i saw the highest temp on stock intercool is 101-102C when hot day then it will go down after the small fan working.

after fit HDI FMIC with 2 thin fan running, i saw 104C degree on hot day and i don't know when will it go down if keep stuck in traffic.

also i will put a big square custom number plate on front bumper to block the lower grill more :rofl2::rofl2:

My engine temps did not change from running the stock tiny intercooler to running an HDi kit.

Scotty's cooling mod, and a larger capacity radiator will improve the cooling system's ability to shed heat.

IMO; the OEM (quite noisy I agree) is far superior to thermo fans for heat management.

I've run a number of different setups using high capacity fans, and custom made shrouds to ensure efficiency, and nothing works better than the stock Clutch fan.

Dolphin front bar for NM35 is unmatched for airflow.

I did notice an improvement in cooling system performance when I changed from the stock "smiley face" front bar to the Aero Kit front bar.
