  1. i've just completed an r33 kit. Pics might be avaialble soon. R32 and 34 kits might come. I'm really busy with work though. Most likely there will be 2-3 for each car, and that's it. No more. Not making any money out of it. It's just been my quest ever since I got my skyline to get bonnet struts.
  2. shoot wrxhoon a pm - he's the expert - him and mik
  3. Got an actuator in perfect condition. Call Chris on 0403 211 482. Cheers
  4. Got some brand new 225/50r16 - never been fitted, never driven on, never nothing - hercules g3000v (the best tyre in their range) - popular brand in the US. I bought them for 150 each. Looking for 100 each (that's the lowest). I'm in sydney. Chris - 0403 211 482.
  5. ps: taking the rocker cover off is crazy just for the water line. haha
  6. Good to hear dave. Watch that coolant mate. What I normally do when bleeding it, is with the car off, I jack the front right up, and keep filling it until it comes out of the bleed nipple. Keep the level in the overflow correct, and after a drive, it'll suck more water in, if there's a little bit of air. Some people like to do it with the car on, but I don't like it - it makes a mess.
  7. 135k is a lot of money for that car. 60k seems to be the price on jspec/prestige these days
  8. weld it in the engine bay? anyone with a tig should be able to weld that line. If you can slide rubber hose over it with a clamp, then why not leave it like that?
  9. nope, the dual blade is the sI - metal comp wheel. the sII is single blade bakelite (plastic)
  10. wogboy, you're a champ. Those pics were very helpfup. Others said, oh, you need to chop, but those really give a reference of how much
  11. You'll recognise it when you see it - its the thing that looks like an E - it is holding on the rod - just grab a flathead screw driver, and push it off carefully (don't drop it - but if you do, its not that big a deal - they cost like 10c)
  12. Not all r34 turbos came with the op6 exhaust trim. I've worked on a few early model 34s that had the r33 sII exhaust housings
  13. The lower one is a sII turbo, the top one is a sI turbo. IMO, I prefer the sII turbos. They seem to spool faster, and make more average power
  14. There is only one way to find out mate. Undo the 'e' clip on the actuator rod. Then take the rod off the wastegate flap. Open and close the flap and see whether it fouls on the dump. Common problem. Seen numerous times with a split dump of a certain brand (not mentioning any names)
  15. I've poked the spring. it is softer than the gtst one. It works well though, no dramas like what you've experienced. It does have that hole too.
  16. It'd be very hard to beleive that it is an engine out job. Even for gtrs, people say its an engine out job, but its not. I'll admit, it is not easy, but its not impossible.
  17. Wouldn't you logically tell hitman that you heard that he quoted 250 to someone else on sau? 300 is too expensive imo. I wouldn't pay it
  18. Yes it does, boost is controllable.
  19. no need to swap rails - straight bolt in. The rails aren't exactly removable anyways (well not easily anyways)
  20. Chris - 0403 211 482. Also in sydney
  21. That is a stadnard sII bakelite intake wheel. The anti surge groove in the comp housing is what he's referring to. If it was highflowed, since the snout would be machined, the grooves would be less pronouned
  22. That does sound right. Either buy that or buy an rb30e one from repco/auto one and cut that up into its separate ports - costs <$10
  23. People don't normally keep part numbers secret - there's no reason to. Most liekly, no one has thought of finding an aftermarket one yet. e.g. when they heard the price $95, they bit the bullet, and said yes sir. I find that nissan has a range of parts with some very cheap (compared to other manufacturers), some very expensive. e.g. take an oil filter as an example - $7.20. Even valvoline ones at supercheap are $10. Normally, I just bite the bullet with nissan because I'm lazy, and I would like to believe that they are better quality (not necessarily the case
  24. when you say good braided stuff, do you mean normal rubber hose with those ricer braid dressup covers? or is it proper braided hose? use normal rubber hose, good clamps, do them tight, and see if it still happens
  25. haha, birnie, I remember when you were doing yours How's the car going nowadays? tuned yet?
