Hi guys, Thought i'd revive a post from over a decade ago as I suspect the information now is a bit outdated. Looking to ship a RB25det with Turbo and Manifold from Fyshwyck 2609 to Launceston 7250. from the helpful posts in SAU, i've seen pallet is the efficient means of transport. (SAU research) weight is approx 250kg with dimensions of 90x70x70cm (correct me if i'm wrong) I have seen TNT being the most affordable at approx $600 and should be able to load and unload ourselves. Looking for recommendations on other companies that I could try and look for better rates. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. OG Post

Hey guys, Long story short I had a GTR and some knob jockey blew up my motor. I have some parts which are just gathering dust. Haven't gotten around to putting this stuff online due to family commitments. Black Alloy Catch can 10mm inlets (Skyline, Pulsar, 200SX, 300ZX/SCT) - never fitted - $50 Stock Coilpacks - Came off R33 GTR RB26 @ 92,xxx km - $120 ono O2 sensor - bought for RB26, never fitted - $80 ono Orion HP-4600 - 4ch bridgable amp. 50RMS @ 4ohm, 75RMS @ 2ohm. Was used in bridged mode @ 4ohm to power 2 splits - $60 ono I don't know how interchangeable the parts are. Buyer beware! I may have other parts for sale which I can't locate atm (in shed) but if interested I can dig them up for you, which include: R33 GTR pod filter air box (aftermarket) Empire Performance front pipe fibreglass sub enclosure to suit R33 including sub Items are being sold elsewhere.

Hi all, I am offering my 96 GTR V-Spec for sale. Low kilometers, mature owner, previous owner was a mother of 2 to cart her kids to school. The goodies: Boost controller (set to 7 & 14psi) Turbo Timer cat back exhaust alpine/orion sound system H/U is sony, has USB input, 3 preout splitfire coilpacks iridium plugs Adjustable coilovers oil catch can (not fitted) Reg till Feb The baddies: 4th - 5th is sticky gutter rash scratch on left rear quarter panel Car has had its major service at approximately 93,000km Minor service carried out approximately 1 month ago. Car is on 101,xxx km! Reason for sale is I'd like to start saving for a house deposit. I won't say no to part trade and $ (am a sucker for holden V8's) Car is simply amazing to drive and has that oomph when you wanna overtake on the highway. It's not a car to take lightly. I would like to see $23000 o.n.o (less without RWC as it only needs to revert pod filter to pass which I can supply) Am reasonably flexible, so try me. Will supply better images later! But for sale I have: R33 GTR standard coil packs - They were working before I removed them - Reason for sale is I replaced them for splitfire coilpacks - $120 o.n.o R33 Apexi Rear Coilovers - One coilover is leaking, other one is fine. Hey mate, cheers for the response, Yeah I've been reading around myself but can't really find a definitive answer. I have the rear all good and ready to go. It's just the fronts which bothers me. I've seen on ebay that you can buy R33,R34 GTT, GTS-T, GTR upper arms but I can't trust the chinese sellers as far as I can kick them (Not being racist, they're why I don't shop on ebay anymore, further more, my mate bought parts which just don't fit.. Go figure).

Hi guys, Hoping you can help me out here. Went to take my 96 GTR in to get an alignment (pulls so bad to the left) and he says I need a front upper arm but he wasn't sure if they're cross compatible between the GTS-T and GTR models. I hope you guys can help me settle the score! Many thanks in advance! Akira

Hey thanks for the heads up guys, I work so I'm always "suited up" during the week so presenting myself won't be an issue at least. Coil overs are adjustable and wound up to a nice height (coke can fits under nicely) with some head room so that won't be an issue. Car doesn't present any leakage issues, brakes and pads are fine too. Car is just stock and the last major service (few months ago) fixed those little things. Sounds like I know what has to be done! Hey guys, I must say I'm a tad nervous, I bought myself an R33 GTR some time ago (6 ish months) from Tassie and got it shipped to QLD. I'm about to get myself a road worthy certificate so I can register it in QLD. Just wondering if any guys had much trouble getting a RWC for their skyline? What does it involve? What precautions should I take? Mods included with my skyline are: Coilovers turbo timer boost controller sound system cat back exhaust pod filters coil packs The car is in fantastic condition, no signs of rust (that i'm aware of) I know there is an exhaust leak at the dump pipe which I plan to fix next weekend assuming the weather holds. I'm wondering how anal the guys will be when they carry out the inspection. I plan to revert to the pod filter back to stock and remove the amplifier. But what about the boost controller, turbo timer and coil overs? Do I need to remove and revert the coilovers? I apologize for coming off as dumb. Being a former Tassie fellow, you just take your POS in and bam, you got the tick of approval. I hear QLD is a little more strict than that lol! I have read the forms and done some research but really can't get any specifics. Any help, guidance would be fantastic! Thank you in advance

Hey guys, So, I'm just a young web developer with an R33 GTR. My big boss happens to own 5/6 business in the area and one of them happens to do vinyl wrapping. She told them about my car and they offered to wrap my car for free! Why? Because I live in the whitsundays region and the most cars are 4x4's or soccer mum cars. So my car kinda sticks out, as it should I do have many questions/opinions about vinyl wrapping. What's a good design? What's a good colour scheme? What do you think goes well with what and where? (e.g 2 tone, black top, red bottom) I am aiming for somewhat minimal design. Kinda like the trueno on Initial D. black on bottom and few stripes. I'm leaning towards black as primary colour for vinyl. But open to any other outrageous suggestions as I think this will be fun Was also thinking on doing a vinyl like the BMW E3 on NFS most wanted, I think that'll be sick lol!
