  1. I will rebuild your engine for you if you like. What is wrong with it to make you think it's on it's way out? I just rebuilt mine with forged pistons for $3500 including new clutch and second hand head. All race bearings and competition gear. I'll even do it at your house if you like. just to make things easier. You'll have to be quick though as I am about to put together my mates 383 stroker. Just after new year sometime. Offer's there if you want it. P.S. I can get a full price list of everything for you if you like. Plus I don't mark up prices and I'll only charge labour.
  2. That's the thing...you guys organise between yourselves what date you want and money and all that stuff. I will have to point a couple of things out. Even though I am an honest person.....I have never done a large buy like this before and am not sure I feel comfortable with all that trust on my shoulders. I need to know if you want an 044 or an 040. Is there a mediator that might be able to hold the money until delivery. Maybe Nismogirl would be a good candidate...sorry if you're reading this Erin as I am 2 seconds from asking you. The 044's are $300 each and don't quote me on this but the 040 I can get for $250...maybe cheaper. It will depend on demand for them as to whether I get a price for them or not. Please give me a fair indication how many people are ACTUALLY interested as I will need an approximate figure to tell Erin. That's all for now.
  3. Clutch plate, around $220-250 Clutch Kit (including pressure plate and carrier bearing) should be around $400-450 I wouldn't use direct personally. Have had problems with their clutches before.(several occasions). Nicks is good. They'll look after you if you pay cash too.
  4. I got two of those if you're interested.
  5. I'll give you $150 for it. Plus why are you selling it?
  6. I can get them for $300 as single or group buy. The Bosch 040 is rated to 400hp and will flow 195 litres per hour The 044 is rated to 600hp and will flow around 250 litres per hour which is like 4 litres per minute. The 040 I can get cheaper than the 044 obviously. I have heard of the 044 supplying 700 hp If anyone wants them, they have to come from Melbourne so they take three days. I will pick them all up on the same day or if you want to buy away from the group...PM me. I don't have enough in my piggy bank to buy all of them so an arrangement will have to be made. I don't mind if you come with me to pick them up. I am honest Cudbee has purchased things from me before. However you guys wanna organise it and whichever way suits everyone. But I will only be paying cash for them unless you trust me with your card and PIN. Which I doubt. Coz I don't have a machine. Please understand. Anyway, that's the end of the story.
  7. I'm pretty sure Z32 calipers are the same as the R32 They use the same pad also. Why do you want 4 stud. What is your car and what have you done to it. If you give me the dimensions of the rotor I might be able to match it up with something in a 4 stud slotted disc. Dimensions are overall diameter, centre hole, stud number(4/5), PCD (114.3), hat diameter, overall height and original thickness. But if you tell me for what car...as in Model, year and stuff, this will rule out the centre hole measurement, stud number and PCD. Get back to me....PM coz I don't often read message threads that are like 2 months old( like this one ).
  8. It can go off. usually takes 2 years or so but as long as it is perfectly sealed then you shouldn't have a problem. If you are in doubt. You can take it into pretty much any Midas or ABS store and they have hydroscopes that can tell you the condition of the fluid...ie..the boiling point of it.
  9. I thought the GTR's came with wider on the back standard. This is what I've seen on every GTR.
  10. yes they have to be in specific order if you leave them on the bracket. but as long as the plugs all match up to corresponding coils then I can't see a problem. Check what Morgs said. Earth is often the problem. Plus check the basics as it may be a coincedence but it might not be anything to do with your coils. might sound funny but it have seen it before. Check to make sure you are getting fuel and spark. Have you got a HEI (High Energy Ignition) tester? if so.....use this to test your spark. If not...go and buy one...they only cost five or ten dollars and it'll show you if you're getting the required spark from the coils.
  11. and before anyone starts asking questions...these pumps retail for $525. and it would cost you around $80-$100 to get them installed(unless of course you do it yourself). I am also a mechanic in case anyone was worried. I have done several of these pump installs with no come backs.
  12. just checked with my supplier and I should be able to get them considerably cheaper if I buy like 10 or so. The more the better. Brisbane and Gold/Sunshine coast buyers only coz I can't be rooted stuffing around with postage.
  13. I can get them to you for $310 each. Dunno how I'd go asking for a group buy, but I can't see the problem. Takes like three days to get them in. I have fitted the 040 in tank with no probs. Takes like half an hour once you pop the boot. I will also do installs for $50 if anyone is interested.
  14. you will find that 90% of R32 skylines have error code 34 come up. I don't think this is your problem.
  15. Boost cut is at 20.5 PSI. Sounds like your AFM is on it's way out. Possibly a coil pack as these play up around the same RPM. Knock sensors usually only pick up signals at around 3800 RPM through to 7900 RPM
  16. how can it be the same as the z32
  17. Is the oil leak on the same side of the engine as the turbos or the opposite side? anyway, whichever the case...your mechanic is an idiot. I can get to anything on those engines without removing anything. It's just a matter of having the right tools. There really isn't many possibilities for oil leaks on the turbo side except for return lines and feed lines. That's assuming is't engine oil. If it's on the other side then it'll probably be the oil pressure sender leaking or the oil filter not on correctly(tight). Those couple of things asside from the sump are really the only places that oil can come from the side. Front and back are a different story. PM me for more details or if you want some solutions.
  18. That guage is out of calibration!
  19. I want it. PM me if you still have it
  20. very interested. If you still have it after christmas...I will take it
  21. RB20 DET CAMS(with camgears) - $50 RB20 DET INLET MANIFOLD - $75 RB20 DET INJECTORS(uncleaned with rail) - $100 2 x R32 ABS COMPUTERS - $50 each RB20 DET EXHAUST MANIFOLD $20
  22. If you want the 4WD then buy a GTR. The GTS4 is too underpowered to give the system justice anyway. It is actually slower than the GTST but better 60FT time. They are more expensive to fix and when you start getting the surging while cruising, it will give you the shits coz the 4WD pump costs shitloads and is a common problem with them. I have driven both and the GTST handles better in the dry than the GTS4. But the GTS4 does better in the wet....by far. Don't ask me why it handles better...it just does. The steering is really hard and the car jumps all over the place where the GTST stays on a much smoother line. All I can say is take both for a drive and be the judge yourself. Don't just take it down the street and back either. Drive it for a good half hour or so, usually the GTS4's float all over the place. The GTS4 will hold it's value for longer than the GTST. The GTS4 will wear out more clutches than the GTST. Some may disagree with all of this but I only speak from my experience and I don't like to drive them. You should see what I mean when you drive this one. You will feel the difference straight away. One last point. In my GTST I don't even think about racing people in the wet. It is dangerous for all. I think you would be more proned to doing this in a GTS4 which can only lead to an unhappy ending. But in the end...you be the judge!
  23. As long as you have a bunch of spanners and sockets it's easy as. 19's 17's 14's. I'm pretty sure these are the only ones. Can't really remember. If you have an hassles just PM me and I can walk you through any problems.
  24. Nah, I (tall guy with the green shirt and jeans) was the passenger of the green GTS4 that was behind you for the first part of the cruise. I was lobbing the bread out the window but they kept going backwards into the bushes. There's probably a few hypo koalas gettin around now.
