  1. Well done. Glad I was a part of it. Shame my car wasn't on the road. Will be next time. Fairy bread went stale.
  2. I'll host it...I got cable...shouldn't be a prob.
  3. anyone up for next weekend?
  4. Not if you haven't altered the overall rolling diameter of the wheel and tyre. it depends on the difference in tyre size.. If you give me the before size (17") and the after size (18") then I will be able to tell you how far out your speedo will be if at all.
  5. I run 45 psi all round and this is on stock 32 gtst rims 16". I get like 45 000 k's outta my tyres coz I set up my own Wheel alignments and check tyre pressures regularly. As for what madmurf said...no disrespect but that is wrong. You will not pump a tyre to 200 psi. a passenger tyre will pop at around 85-90 a performance tyre will pop at around 100 a LT tyre around 120 or so. But they can go earlier. You'll know when she blows too...coz if you're within 10 metres of it at 80 psi, you won't be able to hear anything for around 5 minutes. There is no way the tyre will outhold a rim.
  6. That's the wastegate actuator hose. It provides the actuator pod with boost pressure which opens the wastegate....why would it not last long? As with the hi-flow...and I speak from experience...The HKS is going to be more reliable whereas the hiflow is maxing out and will need to be rebuilt after 12 -18 months. This is just a simple fact. The hi-flows don't last as long unless you start fitting oil coolers and run low boost most of the time. I ran 17psi through my 32 hi-flow and got 220rwkw on standard injectors, standard ecu. The turbo is unreliable though at that pressure. Don't get me wrong though, you get a lot more bang for your buck...but it's worth the investment for the more reliable turbo...coz at the end of the day...the turbo will self destruct before you know it has done so and you won't be prepared for the bill. Another option is to run a nitrous anti lag system and just put the biggest friggin turbo on it that you possibly can...yeah, do that.
  7. WHAT DID I JUST SAY? It is definately wire 53 on the R32. I cut it and put it on a switch. The reason for this is it prevents you from exiting Hicas Diagnostic mode when the wire is cut.
  8. it is unlikely that the sway bar will be bent. and it will only effect the height very minimally on one side if the link pin is bent. No major prob though. You can usually just remove them and bend them back. It is advised to get good ones though as they would be weaker after bending back.
  9. yeah but wouldn't he lose power by having the aircon on all the time? I will try to find my digi camera and show you all how I did it. From the res in the boot to the pressure switch to the sprayers. As for the anti-syphon valve...where can I get one of these? And I thought that it only travelled one way anyway, wouldn't a one way valve stop it from travelling the one way I need it to.
  10. It is definately wire 53 on the R32. I cut it and put it on a switch. The reason for this is it prevents you from exiting Hicas Diagnostic mode when the wire is cut. This is the only thing it effects on the manual. The automatic may be a different story. Comes in handy when you blow away an STi and he thinks he's gonna catch up...hmm I don't think so. It should be a green wire with a yellow trace. Well it is on the 32 anyway. Good luck with the life ending.
  11. yeah, no-one has it anymore... Do you know of anywhere else that is hosting it. I don't have an R33 but I am looking to incorporate the four manuals and make it easier to navigate for everyone. I am in the process of getting an R34 Manual translated through a friend in Japan. it would kinda be pointless without the 33 one also.
  12. you don't need to necessarily go for a larger sway bar as such. It would be more correct to say that a sway bar with a greater tortion strength. You can get sway bars that are adjustable for street and track. This shortens the distance between mounting points to give the sway bar a greater tortion strength, thus giving better road hold during cornering. Then you can adjust them back out to normal(better than standard) when you are driving on the street. I believe whiteline do these but maybe not, you may have to do a little research. Skyla, you are spot on with your explaination of the sway bar. The force that is applied to one side of the sway bar creates an equal force on the opposite side of the sway bar...in other words, it tries to keep your wheels on the ground.
  13. you don't need to get a wheel alignment done after fitting such an item.
  14. I can't connect to any of the clients either. I had no trouble getting the FAST software but none of the methods discussed are working.
  15. I'm even going to go as far as trying to seperate the pages and put the menus into links to make it easier to navigate. Let you all know when it's done.
  16. yep, it's definately the GTST manual and the GTR manual will do CA18, RB20E/DE/DET, RB25DET, RB26DETT - GTST and the GTR manual is the RB26DETT plus all the 4WD systems But I have made a menu system so you can select between the two. it autoruns when you put the cd in.
  17. try again. I've accepted passive connections also
  18. I'll download it and put it up on the ftp. Hopefully this time it'll work...my ftp that is. I'll let you all know when it's going. The 32 manuals (both gtr and gtst) should be right to download now if you want them though. ftp://[email protected]:77 Just click on this and internet explorer will goto the site. Drag and drop should work.
  19. Well i'm trying the 50 meg one now, it's only taking 3 mins 45 secs to download so I'll let you know what's wrong with it when I get it
  20. if you are using an ftp client then the user name is Skyline and the port is 77 Ip is 203.45.164.45 and there is no password I can see the connections on my server but the downloads aren't happening so I'm not sure what the prob is. My firewall can't be it coz it won't let you in otherwise and it accepts all connections on 77. So i've turned it off anyway. And I put maximum users to infinite instead of 3, lol my bad. Try again and see what happens. ftp://[email protected]:77
  21. do you mean the nissan fast software? no it's not that but I have that also if you like.
  22. sorry, dunno what happened there, I'll try to find out
  23. it's an ftp server. you just click on it it for internet explorer to access it
  24. I know that many people have been waiting for the manuals and most of us probably have them. I have created a little menu system whereby you can select between the two manuals. It is autorun when you insert the CD with nice little icons and stuff. I have also included acrobat reader 5.1 so you can read them if you don't already have it installed. Anyway....I have cable so download the complete ISO image or I have compressed it into tiny bits for all you dial-up people. Let me know what you all think. I'm gonna try to do the same but include the 33 manual when I find it. Cheers. ftp://[email protected]:77
  25. yeah, I'm hoping to get it out for the massive cruise up here on the 28th. Should iron out some of my bugs and destress me a bit.
