  5. Was talking to my Mummy on the phone, cooking dinner and now watching NCIS. I'm still whoring, I'll keep whorin well into my cougar years!
  6. Hmm..if I do that then maybe he'll cook
  7. Well that's gay. Do you want me to bring your dinner into you? I promise I won't poison you.
  8. That's what I thought. When I went for my P's the instructor told me never to take a round about faster than 50km however the assessor in the back had said that there was no law actually saying that it legally had to be taken at 50 and to take it at a safe controllable speed close to the speed limit. Have heard good things about Sean Hardy but no personal experience.
  9. Is it just me or are Brisbane drivers becoming increasingly rude and stupid? I'm from Victoria so I can deal with aggressive drivers who will ram you the second the light goes green, at least they're on the ball but just in the last 4 weeks I've noticed people in Brisbane doing really stupid shit (going straight on green arrows, dawdling through stop signs, giving way to the left on roundabouts ect)
  10. Time slots allocated to us if people could book in advance that'd be great. I just need your name and whether you've donated before. 10am Hivefleetabyss (Zeke) 10.15 Mrs Hivefleeyabyss (Becky) 10.30 Cadmoon (Michael) and 10.45 V8skylineman and 11.15 Cowdy & Mrs Cowdy (Zac & Kathryn) 11.30 T5IV (Tony) and 11.45 x 2 12.00 Miss-R34 (Chantalle) 12.15x 2 12.30 12.45 1.45 2.15 2.45x 2 3.15 x3
  11. Really but the Victorian's are cool and funny! I dunno if Scott's really a Victorian anymore, been here over 12 months
  12. You're better off avoiding antibiotics as much as possible as the body can build up immunity to it. It's bad enough that there is now antibiotic resistant bugs Antibiotics are useful as long as they're to overused. Simple solution, don't use public toilets. I avoid touching public door handles unles I have to, especially at work. I also turn flick taps on with my elbows. Flu shot doesn't cover you for all the strains anyway. We did the glitter test at Uni with the black light. Really shows if you don't wash your hands properly. 36 to 37.3 in an adult is like your car running halfway. 38c is like running hot and you start putting organs at risk. Stomach ache explained. I hope not. I work in a hospital and it'll take so much time out of my day if I have to own and glove for every room Yep cos your arm doesn't touch door handles, stop button on buses ect. The kindy my son goes to has a mild chlohexadene wash at the sinks and a simple prettier version of a full 60 second hand wash poster on the wall. I've been into hospitals with less Handwashing posters than the Kindy.
  13. Yeah same. Mine got down to the low 30's (in combo with low iron and low calcium) as well and it started messing with my cognitive function, immune system and energy levels. Felt like a total Zombie. Anti inflamms can screw with your Gastro intestinal tract long term. Should always be taken with food.
  14. Just did a quick head count and it seems we only have 20 people confirmed. Come on boys, pony up! THERE will be ladies! There will be food! There will be lollies! And there will be prizes!!
  15. For those who weren't able to make it to the dinner at the German Club there is other options. The shirts are now being housed with Scotty (because we just don't have the room in our apartment) They can be collected at Happy Laps on the 28th of April (next Sunday) SAU Blood drive on the 4th of May ( the weekend after) Super Sprint Day on the 11th (the weekend after that) Or Aus300ZX A2ZED N Wooshka cruise on the 19th of May (the weekend after that again)
  16. Okay Guys and Girls. Just thought I'd give a quick update. I have received a booking form with different time slots which I will bring along for you to pick your time to have your blood sucked. I believe the first appointment is at 10.30. We have been given a generous discount from The Chop Shop at Keperra who will be providing meaty goodness for our BBQ and there will be soft drinks as well. Bring your wives/girlfriends/play mate along plus anyone else who wants to give blood/chill with us cool kids. As Tony has mentioned before we are asking for a note donation which will go toward funding projects undertaken by The Australian Red Cross such as their natural disaster relief in Australia and their sanitation programmes in the Asian Pacific. For those who have asked for bank details to make their note donation in advance this can be directed to: Name: Skylines Australia Queensland Club Bank: Westpac BSB: 034 063 Account Number: 354 012 Just so we know who and what it's for, if you can put a ref like name_red cross that'd be awesome. For those who would like to do cash on the day I'll bring along the SAU money box. If anyone has any questions or concerns they can PM myself or Tony ( T5IV)
  17. For anyone who missed the awesome announcement about the Polo's Check out : http://www.sauqld.com/ipb/index.php?showtopic=3714&st=40&start=40
  18. Can't think of anyone who drives a yellow 34. If he was driving like a twit he probably wasn't ours. Saw an older lady driving an athlete silver series 1 R34, turning left into Rode Rd, Chermside (from Gympie Rd) this arvo, around 4ish. Plates 34Neo.
  19. Are they always held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month? I think I'll be back in Melbourne for a little while around then (next month) and wouldn't mind coming along. Simon & Kaz- Pre drinks?
  20. I believe it's fairly straight forward if the car is stock as a rock. We got a heavily modded car from Sydney which needed an engineers certificate and that was a nightmare and a half (it didn't help that it didn't have a vin number and had to go through the stolen vehicles unit for verification prior to be registered) I would not use CEVA transport, they are rotten to deal with and their staff are unprofessional and rude. I organised for my car to be carried from Melbourne to Brisbane in December. I booked, paid and provided all the measurements they required plus more to make sure my baby was carried safely, get to the depot after driving 150kms and was told it was going to be an additional $300 because a mistake made by their staff member and that it would take another 9 days. Called around frantically and found another company who was going to do it $200 cheaper than the original company, carried my car in a covered truck and even gave her a wash before I picked her up. On New Years Eve. http://www.prixcartransport.com.au/move-my-car/
