  1. C'mon! Man up! Who needs to look good if you can claim that 49!
  2. Hey Dean. I've found some seats already. They needed to be FIA approved and fixed back. Thanks anyway mate.
  3. Yeah would have been good to meet you. Exactly what I was thinking. Might need to pay a little extra for 18s. but yeah GTR offset for sure. Yeah yokohamas support for the whole event was great. Even if you were a spectator there were plenty of things to keep you occupied out the back.
  4. Yeah Winton +1!!! I know that track! Yeah luck bastard for sure. I get to choose colour, offset and maybe size etc within reason. Still need to work it out with them. They will be street rims I think. they're too nice. I may be persuaded to sell though... Yeah a bit of work has been done lately but handling still needs to be sorted.
  5. Sick! Bring it! New Sil80 drifter will not be ready but will be there with the 32! With 20 more kw's!
  6. *cough* Jarrod *cough*
  7. Advan RS's. Apparently worth $3000. They were evo offset so I'm going to get some here in melbourne. 9in with a desent offset. Yeah sorry ben we were probably drooling over other cars... Car went great so didn't need to do much in the pits.
  8. Good times! I had so much fun. I really under-estimated the track though. It is such a drivers track and suspension is super important and revealed some big weaknesses in my setup. If only I knew a few weeks ago I would have come up for the sat as well. I would have made a world of difference knowing the track. My only practice is on V8 supercars on xbox haha. And they handle better on xbox. Ending up with a 1:24:3 is good enough for me for first time out. I started on high 1:26s so came down nearly 3 secs. Quality of cars was outstanding. Blew me away and plenty of inspiration for the lower budget competitors. I hope that superlap continues to do these events. I spoke to the Yokohama guys and they seemed keen enough to continue if they get support. I was plugging a Sandown superlap to the sponsors and organisers the whole time I was there!!! Oh yeah... and I officiall got the best prize even if I wasn't that fast! Advan RS wheels from the raffle haha! I spent a lot of money (for my budget) getting to superlap so it was incredible to get something back.
  9. Me too and I actually did win them! Was a great event. Good times... I didn't see anyone else from sau vic though?
  10. See you all up there! We're heading off in early tomorrow morning. Come and say hi when you're there. We're in garage 19.
  11. Yokohama rang me last week about tyres for superlap saying that the new AO50 is being used by some front runners at superlap. They were saying that they are a bit quicker and softer. Semi's are gunna be costing drug money soon!
  12. Is anyone going to practice on saturday? Are spectators allowed?
  13. No matter what we tried with the AVC-R we coun't get the wastegate to close at high revs. So we've still got drop at about 6500-7000 back down to about 16psi. It hits hard with about 20psi with exellent mid range though. I'll just have to learn to shift at 7000. Bit hard when I'm used to hitting it at 7900-8000 all the time! We made just over 230rwkw's now so thats a 30kw gain from what I had at 14 psi. It pulls very hard now!
  14. I've got 30 more kw's now. Making 230 but only up to about 6500-7000 then it drops off. Looking forward to the extra torque that we made though. Car is almost prepped with only a few things left. Can't wait!
  15. I doubt they would mate. 32 GTR brakes are 296mm. Brembos are 324mm and a beefier caliper. Could be worth trial fitting though.
  16. Got one...
  17. Well I'm at superlap so I miss out on F1 but I got a taste for it today at Kinglake. I'm up here for work and a BMW and minardi 2 seater ripped some skids and flick turns in the main part of Kinglake as an event for the locals. Frieken loud. Good to see!
  18. Spring rates of the coilovers? What model?
  19. I remember seeing your car at sandown last year. Was for sale back then too. Pretty mint.
  20. In that case just get some standard 32 GTR rims 16x8 +30. Not too expensive.
  21. Hey I forgot you had these. I'll take em. Just add em to the bill. Chat to ya tomorrow.
  22. I'll have a think about it. If you came down you get to see some awesome racing at Oran Park for only $15 entry! Some of the best jap track cars will be there. What sort of driving have they done? Age of the tyres?
  23. They're crap for the street. My car almost changes lanes when there is an uneven surface like at traffic lights (wheel wells). Noisy and they wear out quick. Just have another set of rims and tyres for the track. Heaps better... If you do run them on the street make sure they're not too low on pressure.
  24. Those will look terrible mate. Also GTR's should always have same rim and tyre width front and rear because of 4WD. R32 GTR offsets should be between +20 and +30 and go for some thing about 8-10inchs wide. Read this thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wh...0&start=480
