Reviving an old thread I know. I didn't smash mine with a hammer. I connected it up with the wrong polarity to the battery to see if would make a sound and it blew up. Lot's of smoke and heat haha.

So I'm thinking about entering. My question is to those who know my car and my driving abilities. Would I be anywhere near the pointy end of the clubsprint class to make it worthwhile? Or should I keep the semi's on and just get slaughtered in open class? I mainly want to go up there just for the fun of racing OP. Not too serious about it although I do enjoy racing on semi's. I suppose I would only do clubsprint class if I was going to be competitive. If I was going for clubsprint what tyres are most people running? I've never bought good road tyres for my skyline. thanks. Edit: I've done 1:39s at Winton and 1:28s on 2nd hand semis if that's any indication. Also I've never even been to OP so it will be a new track for me.

Sweet. I'll give you a call on sat and work out a time to check out the bonnet. I might be going down to micolour in the morning to talk to mick so that's half way to your place. There is probably nothing wrong with my radiator just that I thought the GTR one might be bigger or better in some way. I'll be putting in an oil cooler soon too so the bonnet and oil cooler should solve my temp problems.

Yeah I might go for a look. Femno, Drift SX (tim) and others are going to drive so there will be some nissan love there. Also there is a winton track day on the monday. It's probably worth sticking around for that too. They are a well run day

Hey Gareth. Are the GTR radiators any better than GTSt? If so I'll take one. Also pretty keen on the bonnet too. My car has been getting a bit hot on the last few outings.... haha. Are you home on sat? I'd like to come and check it out.
