  1. They probably won't do mine because it's almost in the direct line of sight. Also it's about 10-15cm long now. Nick, does your windscreen mate still do it? 195 is a good price.
  2. not that much benifit on fast out of turn 2. Turn 3 is right there.
  3. Let me know how you go. My windscreen cracked at sandown on the weekend. It spread heaps with the force on it on the fast straights. I was just thinking of getting one without the antenna. I don't listen to the radio anyway. Try Novus windscreens. If it's small they might be able to repair it instead of replacing it.
  4. YOU DA MAN!
  5. Wow! How old are they? What type?
  6. C'mon don't be soft...

  8. ?? ?? Now I can finally have a race track time in my signiture! Tim. You did well to hold this one! Over the ripple strip!
  9. Good stuff Aaron. Do you know why it's misfiring?
  10. Mate. I just loved it. Give me more! Few little things. cracked windscreen that seemed to get longer every time I was on the straights, O2 sensor rubbed through the air con line so need a new pipe and regas and gotta reconnect my exhaust after it tryed to fall off. Only minor things but I got a lot out of the day. I just can't wait to get out there again.
  11. Speaking of pulsars. Anyone know if you can put an NA engine into a turbo car and drive it on your p's? I have a mate about to get his licence and he loves the GTIR pulsars. Could he put the NA SR into it and drive it like that on his p's or is it still classified as a turbo because it originally was?
  12. I reckon that's ugly. 240Z's and 260Z's look heaps better. I don't know about you but I hate driving a heap around. I definitely couldn't do it for 3 years on P's. At least get something that's a bit unique.
  13. Wish I could make it.
  14. MR2 is a good idea. It'll handle well and they aren't common which is cool. If I was on the restrictions like P platers are now I would probably go for an N14 SSS. I never liked them till i went in a mates. They really go hard. They're cheap too. Throw in some cams, headwork, swaybars and suspension and they are a cool little unit. If SSS is too much for insurance some of the Pulsar Q's had the SR but missed out on the Viscous front LSD. FWD can be fun but you've gotta know how to drive them. I wouldn't have a clue since I've never had one.
  15. Do you care about fuel economy? If yes then like a SSS pulsar with SR20. If no like an XR6 falcon with some head work. *Edit* Ignore the falcon, you want a car that will handle well.
  16. Brother of Chris?
  17. I'm pretty sure most airbag cars these days have sensors on the seatbelt. It senses the tension and deploys the airbag. So if the crumple of the front of the car is altered then the seatbelt sensitiveness mys also be altered because the drivers force on the belt is different. That's why seatbelts have to be changed if the airbag goes off. Happened to my dad's EL Falcon when my sister crashed it.
  18. I'm using them on the front at least. I'm desperately needing some rears but don't want to fork out for newy's. I'll probably use some RE050's on the rear after I get maybe 1 or 2 sessions out of the RE55's rears I had at DECA. My car is a bit understeery anyway. You have more killer wasps than me Nick. I'm going to get owned in mod class but that's cool . I don't think I would get into standard anyway because of other mods. Ryan, do you have access to anymore of those V8 ute tyres?
  19. I guess this is the same reason that big wheels and tyres (such as 4x4 tyres) need to have flares fitted so that it isn't protruding.
  20. Yeah but at least it doesn't have a GT wing. haha. Mufflers are cheap, clearing a heavy defect on a turbo import isn't.
