  3. Yeah I've never liked lots of classes at the same time. You won the slow class... woopee! Noone cares. As a spectator all I care about is the outright fastest.
  4. If you follow the drivers and teams it's much more interesting than ford vs holden.
  5. Yeah controlled chassis and engines with different panels would work I reckon. Keep the V8 engines though. That way it will keep the bogans interested. Could still call them V8 supercars too. I really enjoy the current setup so wouldn't like it to change much.
  6. My car wen't really well on the weekend so I'm not going to mess with it. thanks anyway mate. Good luck with the sale.
  7. Can't make it but I wast that voucher! haha.
  8. Just go as fast as you can! Did you pass out with the fumes? White 180 with massive offset front wheels. Not that onevia you're talking about.
  9. Oh I thought the one you were doing was the one at winton. When is the one at PI?
  10. Yeah how many cars are required for the relay? I'd be keen. If not this time maybe the next time one is held.
  11. Yeah Brendan that was a close call. Must have only been about 1 metre away from the wall. That was first session so the track was pretty cold. Thanks Ryan. It was only just a 39 though. 1min39.8sec. I absolutely love the track. Can't wait to get back again hopefully with a warmer track temp. I'm hoping to make it up to the 6 hour relay to watch. If you and the guys need a hand with pit crew etc let me know.
  12. Hey fellas Post in the wrap up thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wi...95#entry4011595
  13. C'mon Al. At least Winton are giving people track time. They should limit the numbers out each session though I reckon. Heaps better in the afternoon. I only saw 1 stack all day sat and that was from a guy looping and backing into a wall. Was great to meet so many new people over the weekend. You're all legends! I'm really happy with a 1min 39 today. With the track as cold as it was I reckon better conditions will bring better times. I love the track. I've got heaps of vids and photo's and I'll put them up over this week.
  14. I'm doing some sprints at winton this weekend. I'll have a think about it and let you know. Russ
  15. See ya's in the morning! I bought some jumper leads this arvo (thanks anyway brett). Should be all sweet. Can't wait.

    Car Vs House

Yeah house for the win if you can afford to do it.
  17. Thanks mate. Would you send the front one to Melb? If so what price. It may not be practical but thought I'd ask anyway.

    Car Vs House

From my research houses doubling in 7-10 years is a trend "in high growth areas" since the 70's. Sure there will be lulls where the value doesn't go up but in the long run it will always go up. I was carefull where I bought mine. Lots of growth in south east queensland so I went for brisbane. 20 mins from CBD. It should be a good choice. Time will tell though.
  19. Cool so under 40's is the place to be! I'm going up sat morning and staying sat night. Unfortunately I can't come up friday. Mat Femino (Femno) and others are in benalla friday night though.

    Car Vs House

I just bought an investment property in Brisbane. Interest only loan so I'm counting on property going up and rent going up too. Houses double in price every 7-10 years in good growth areas so it's pretty hard to go wrong long term. I've spoken to too many old people saying they bought they're house for $1XX,000 and now it's workth $6XX,000. $500,000 or so of equity just from owning (paying off) the thing. I think it's the safest investment to have. Plus the place I bought is brand new so I'll save heaps on tax every year. I've still managed to save and own/race my skyline too. I just try not to spend much on it.
  21. Hey mate. Do you have some pics that show how it is adjusted? How much bigger are they to standard 32 sway bars? Thanks, Russ
  22. Yeah man. Come up. Fun/cheap day on sat and times on sunday! What is a good RWD time for winton? What should I aim for? Thanks for that Brett. I'm charging it up over this week so hopefully it recovers so we don't need to use them.
  23. I don't mind getting passed by a commodore. Good to see one well set up. I'm ready to go now. Swapped some tyres around so I've got RE55 fronts and Toyo R888 rears. Will be interesting to see how the toyo's go coz I had RE55's at sandown but they're dead now. Only thing is the car keeps getting a flat battery. It sit's for too long between events. Anyone taking jumper leads? Mine have melted and haven't bought new ones yet.
  24. I remember that commodore. VN or VP I think. It was 1 of like 3 cars that passed me last time I went. I tried to keep with it but it's got some serious power and good brake package if I remember correctly. See ya there Brendan
