  1. H4 definitely is a high low bulb.
  2. It sucks to view those photos on phone, but looks like you have the important part, the flat and tapped hole for the idler on the exhaust side. cant see if the drain and oil feed is there but they are easy to add. also looks like you have already ground the clearance for the exhaust manifold, plugged an oil feed to head and tapped the hole for the new tensioner. what are you worried about?
  3. The revs 'sticking' is due to the torque converter locking, and is completely normal. The trans staying in 3rd is is limp mode, means you have a problem in adelaide mv automatics is the only man to see.
  4. Sell it quick and buy a hypergear. Stao is destroying the second hand turbo market!
  5. If we don't hear back I will assume that you have exploded yourself
  6. True, avoid it.
  7. All I noticed on that pic was your big toe is heaps shorter than your second toe!
  8. Yeah. All the talk in this section should be about baby seats and family issues....
  9. Does it really matter to have the pump control? How much colder would the fuel be? that's the only reason I can see to run dual voltage as they aren't noisy pumps. I mean if you pumped half the fuel around to the engine and back, would the fuel be half as cold? The way I see it, it couldn't as it has had more time in the engine bay to absorb the heat. Someone smart help!
  10. I melted the plug with mine. Definitely needs sometging better than stock for wiring. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/423664-melted-connector-plug-due-to-larger-in-tank-pump-pics/
  11. Easily done with a z32 afm and nistune ecu. I also had issues years ago with a vl turbo, went to a wolf 3d. Really no need to go to an aftermarjet ecu with how good nistune is. Also keeps everything looking stock.
  12. Could be anything. is it stainless and thin? Could be an ebay manifold. Why does it matter?
  13. What's your concern with an afm? As kiwi said it's alot of cash just to get rid of it. A nistune ecu would be the best option, but you haven't actually mentioned your goals except for diching the afm. Who told you they are bad?
  14. So measure it up and post results. Would be good to put the actual comp ratio (and type of cams) against a comp test result for comparison purposes.
  15. No internal damage, so don't stress. Let us know how you go!
  16. Nice work. What coils are they?
  17. But late now, but got won't need to plug in the knock sensors to start the car, but it will turn on check engine light, so keep looking for the loom!
  18. A comp test is virtually impossible to tell the comp ratio. Too many variables. Cam and cam timing play a huge part. The only way to know for sure is measure everything and calculate it, but I wouldn't pull an engine apart just to do that. Who built it? Don't they know?
  19. Exactly what I was thinking. Why do you want to know Boostin0199, got some crazy plan?
  20. That's awesome power at those revs, would have been an absolute animal.
  21. Why are the Toyota studs better? The nissan ones lasted a fair while! I wouldn't worry about the rocket cover washers. worse car scenario they are ready to replace at a later date.
