  1. siu_loong_bao: no i dont have pics of the rims on a r33 sorry, maybe you could photoshop it or something? i was going to suggest u could come down and try it on if u like but i saw in your info that you live in brisbane. I guess they would make your car look pretty fat, as they are pretty wide rims. IKA82: yes still available, lots of interest but noone serious!
  2. NickySantoro, i will try and out for you and get back to you in a PM. AL, they will clear the front brakes of a r33 without spacers. np, just pm me back when you're ok and hopefully i'll still have them
  3. price drop 850 ono, after quick sale, give me your offers!
  4. price negotiable! make an offer, im after a fairly quick sale so most offers would be taken seriously

  6. absolutely amazing by the d1 drivers, thats all i have to say.
  7. I use the NGK BCPR6ES plugs gapped at 0.8mm and can't complain either, works a treat. and about the stainless steel pipe, i think what the mechanic means is to replace the plastic pipe that goes from the afm to the turbo, but i dont think they actually suck in till around 200rwkw anyway.
  8. i think the cores are ok... as long as you have good pipework and good cast end tanks to go with the intercooler core, then it will be ok. but i have seen many vl owners with those truck coolers with end tanks that are 90 degrees at the back of the core.. now those are the ones i would stay away from.
  9. I had the same problem with you when i fitted my fmic. What i did was take it to an exhaust shop and got them to weld a small nipple on the pipe after the turbo. In the end he didn't charge me to get it done due to it taking a few minutes and well worth the effort as boost control was so much more accurate.
  10. i thought when the engine light comes on it's knocking....
  11. hmm... 5x100, they won't fit r33 gtst will they
  12. FMIC extends the flutter as there is more air that has to go back thru the pipes, and yes a steel intake pipe will make the echo louder.
  13. 5x114 and +45 offset will fit gtst perfect
  14. autobarn can hook you up with a K&N panel filter, they are a treat.
  15. core looks fine... end tanks.. hmm need abit of work there
  16. msot vl owners go after market ecu, like a microtech. but i dont see a reason for the s-afc to not work.
  17. no, the a/f ratios will differ and not be "in tune". as far as i know, i dont think detonation would be a problem as it'd be too rich rather then too lean, but im not an expert
  18. I tend to agree with bobjones here. I think the important parts to get brand names are the muffler and dump, because as he said, the rest is just pipe. I'm still deciding whether to get a split dump or a single pipe as i've heard a few mixed reports about the split dump doing nothing, and others saying that it gives them a decent increase.
  19. yep you can, but it'd be easier to tap into the wire on the ecu as it's easier to get too, unless of course you already have the dash out.
  20. you dont need to wire it up to the coils, just tap into the rpm signal off the ecu. there are a few diagrams of the ecu layout on these forums; just do a search. also, i think to correct steve i think green is for the rpm signal, and white is for the illumination. It is better to tap into your dashlight wire because it you can adjust the brightness of it with the switch.
  21. some people aren't just after the peak power output, but rather a quick spooling turbo for the streets with a fatter power band. its really upto the individual
  22. to check, make sure all the hoses are on tight then start the car up and run through the diagnostics in the manual. should be all easy after installation.
