    tyre store!

hey guys, got myself some 18" rims. was wondering where's a good (and cheap  ) place where i could get some tyres fitted on! oh and by the way somewhere close to the south eastern suburbs would be nice
  2. glad to hear you are happy with your result meshmesh, reading that post brought tears to my eyes
  3. those are ROH Fury rims.
  4. search is your friend! mines ecu is not chip/tunable. the link, powerfc etc are fully tunable. but seriously do a search and you will find all your answers about ecu's
  5. bump. had alot of interest but noone has bought them! cmon guys! $700
  6. no it isn't, i think from memory its some sort of hitachi turbo with a t3 flange. do a search, this has been covered before.
  7. check the faq/diy section of this forum, there is a good thread there of everyone sharing their CAI setup.
  8. it wouldn't cost more then around $100 to get an s-afc tuned, well worthwhile if you aren't looking at doing anything serious. The gains really depend on how bad the state of tune was previously, and how many mods you have done since. You should be able to see a nice 10-15rwkw increase in most of the rev range if you haven't had your car tuned before with abit of boost, full exhaust and an fmic for example.
  9. yeh it is expensive to keep the HKS pod filters maintained and they filter like crap. K&N are awesome, and Apexi just as good (the legalness (in vic anyway) of the paper type apexi is a big turn on as well)
  10. the screw won't help your cause with it venting to atmo, that little hole just does exactly what rev210 says, smoothes out the transition from off-on boost. blocking it just stops that from smoothing out.
  11. Redbaboon is right, the HKS filter elements are throw away.
  12. yep.. remove that tee, one straight to the actuator, the other to the nipple on the intercooler pipe.
  13. err u sure? they are fine for me.
  14. any piggyback fuel management hardware can fix this problem... (ie. s-afc or e-manage) but thats more of a bandaid solution. best option would be to go for a whole replacement ecu like a powerfc or wolf3d if you can afford it.
  15. on the stock cooler, i wouldn't push passed 10 psi for safetys sake.
  16. yeh that is the stock computer.... hurry up and get that pfc
  17. here you go.. evc 4 installation evc 4 setup (after installation) evc 4 user manual
  18. http://www.alltrac.net/manuals/AVC.htm try that mate.... not sure if it will help or not
  19. it all depends on the brand etc.. prolly around $1200-$1500?
  20. umm... i'm not sure exactly but when i pull them off to fit on new rims i can measure it for you. I use it on a r33 gtst. how much i plan on selling them? i'm not sure.. nothing much.. i'll see when i pull them off and take pics and msg you and we'll go from there i guess.
  21. it makes the car look abit funny if u get spacers just for the front, you'd need to get them for the back too to make it look flush.
  22. yeh i have the same type of spacer as sidewaymambo, cept mine are purple color. they bolt onto the hub and is just the matter of putting on the bolts onto the hub. as far as any problems i don't see to have any. i will be taking them off and selling them soon tho as im getting new rims.
