Here at SauVic Motorsport we thought it would be a good idea to see what percentage of our members are actually into Motorsport. We are currently looking into running our first ever SAUVIC Track day at Winton at the end of October. If this event goes ahead it will likely replace the championship round at Winton schedueld for the 9th of October. Just to give you an idea about this event, as this will be the last round of the SauVic Track Championship we are discussing the possibility of encorporating such things as a Cruise, Show and Shine and Saturday night festivities. At this stage we are estimating a ball park figure of around $140-$190 per entry for the Track Event. Please note this event would be open for anyone to attend. If we decide to go ahead with this event it would be a large financial outlay for the Club therfore it would be great if everyone could take the time to answer the above questions. With your help we hope to take SauVic motorsport to a new level. Also, if the is anyone interested in being a part of the Motorsport Committee this year, please post in here or PM me your interest. Being part of the team means helping with such events as this Track day, Deca, Drag days and the Motorsport Championship. You do not need to be currently competing nor do you have to drive a skyline. We would appreciate any ideas, opinions and suggestions - feel free to PM me if you do not wish to post in this thread. Thanks Guys!

Dan, i have received your entry. it is the first time though. Had one pull out so Luke is on the main list. Will update later tonight. Remember Guys: No Forms, No List

Hmmm, all good. Both sorted

Just saw this.. if you have a normal bonnet with the lever in the car and the one under the bonnet you already have 2 restraints.

Hi Guys, just a reminder for everyone pm'ing/emailing me etc, you will not go onto any list without an entry form. Here is a list of people who have not paid according to my records. As there are a fair few people on the Reserves list i suggest you get onto it asap. We are not accepting payment on the day. (AASA licence payments are ok): Roman Plotnikox Mario West Vince Ritchie Karlos Broulidarkis Obviously you do not need to pay if you are on the reserves list however if you are put onto the main list please sort this out asap.

ENTRY FORM WILL BE UP TOMMOROW AFTERNOON. Remember, Deca can sell out pretty quickly so dont wait around. Also, if you do miss the list still send us your entry and we will put you on the reserve list. There is often a number of people who pull out before the event.

Brisby, you will be front and center handing out your memorial trophy. see you all there.

Kepp your eyes out for SAUVics own track day at Winton Next year To be confirmed. Fun Days are a great way to get into track days and they are very cheap but you will soon get sick of having geese on track with you.
-
on the contrary, i dont think deca could be any less serious. the competition side of things are very relaxed. to compete doesnt mean you are going for number 1 spot, its also when you are taking on cars that are similar to yours. its when you get beaten by that similar car that you try that little bit harder and learn more about you and your car the next time.

Thanks to everyone who helped out on the day and well done to everyone for some decent times with no incidents! Here are the results: Micolour Deca November RESULTS Well done to Snowcone and Sidesaddle for taking out the honours.
