these days are run nothing like the drift days. we have a passenger session if there is time, otherwise it is just you and your instructor if you go for DT. IF you are a bit unsure and want to get some pointers the DT is the way to go. your instructor can give you the basics you need like technique and lines and if you feel up to it and your instructor is on the same page most people usually end up going out on their own later in the day. Ill be there, i think. unfinished business.

We have 18 people so far, now i just need you all to pay!! gotta put a deposit down to keep the booking. Still taking more people. strange rules at lemans... they will take up to 23 people in one group, but if we go over and split into 2 groups they will charge for 28 people. so if we hit 24 we then need 4 more people...

Reading up on the classes, whats peoples take on the below? Standard Tyres must be legal for use on public roads. Tyres marked “Not for Highway use”, “Racing Use only” are not permitted in this category. Modified Production 3.2 Only Road Tyres are permitted to be used. Tyre sizes with respect to width and aspect ratio are free. so modified cars can run road legal semis??

Results Good day, bit wet. Thanks to the volunteers for putting up with the rain and wind. Good work by everyone not putting their car into the walls.

Mick and Tim bought podium 2's. the same as what i had. the biggest difference is that the sides dont drop away towards the front like the Gp. As for rails, my car, Tims car and Micks car have all had the old mounts cut out and new solid mounts put in. It gets you a lot closer to the ground. so if you dont care about not moving it and you dont have a midget freind that will be driving it i would recomend doing that...

there is a bit of shelter where the cars get scrutineered but the track isnt visible from there. umbrella and really warm clothes for sure.

Meridian Motorsport have Velo and Sparco, Revoloution racegear have cobra, omp have racetech. these are the three brands i would look at. I had a Velo Podium 2 and it was awesome, i now have a racetech and somewhat wish i still had the Velo but its still good. It is definantly a worth while purchase. stay away from all the Drift/autotechnica crap. High sides and low mounts are the key, especially in silvias/180s. i managed to make the velo fit into a bride superlow rail.. it takes a bit of convincing.
