again? more boost and take your skirt off... ive watched those vids. ive got a little something extra now days so i would be keen to see what it translates into at sandown.. just dont have tyres that are worth trying on. maybe a bulk a050 purchase is in order.

As long as there is something at the front and back of the car to pull it by that is all that matters. most cars have them underneath as standard but some newer cars have spots where you screw them in. if you have some super low body kit that blocks it you may look at putting another one on as they will not care for your kit, they will just hook it up and pull you out.

It is a club sprint day. Againts the clock you do approx 4 timed laps per session. there are only approx 8-15 cars on the track in each group. Supp Regs have a read

Micolour Sauvic Deca Motorkhana - Round 2 - Saturday 5th June 2010
Belsil80 replied to Belsil80's topic in Archived Events
No worries. Looking at the officials thread there isnt many people that have put their hands up to help... So if you have friends coming along please try to convince them to help out. if you can let us know before hand that is one less thing we have to organise in the morning which means we get out on track earlier and inturn there are more battles in the arvo -

Semis are definantly better in the wet than streets once they warm up. When they are cold they are terrible. A050s are the only exception as they arent too bad cold... thats why they cost the most i guess. -

No worries Tom, see you at the next one. Sam you are now in. Kieran, you need to be careful no matter what tyres you run. and they need to have decent tread depth. Keep in mind people cold brakes and tyres in the wet on track are very dicey and easy to lock up. its even more important to try and brake in a straight line to keep your weight evenly distributed. (on the back tracks). The skid pan is just rediculous when its wet. I say this as we would like to avoid cars going off as much as possible, obviously -

driving gloves for a cruise... oh dear. everything about the reason for getting gloves is wrong. it is a cruise and if you are sweating up a storm driving on the road then your probably going too fast. at most get a suede or part suede steering wheel.
-
RESULTS Well done Grass eater! how many sessions in the dry were there? Im yet to see this m3 of Markovs.. 1.42 is bloody quick.
-
why are you going in open class? your car pretty much fits into club with the exception of tyres from what i can remember... what is the utqg rating on the tyres from deca and are you running them?
-
Well Done Rusty! Outright FTW!

If i have counted correctly this Deca was the 20th SauVic Deca so far. Hard to believe.. Anyway, big thank you to all our volunteers and helpers: Bec, David, Marcus, Anna, Beth, David, Robert, Crossy, Rob, Dave, Russell, Davidson, Al, Martin, Kieran, Tony, Luke and Timmeh. I hope i have named everyone.. These guys are the ones who took down your times, picked up your cones and helped set up and pack up each event as quickly as we could to maximise track time. If we did not have these people volunteer their time deca would not go ahead. Also thanks to Mick from Micolour for sponsoring the event, letting me drive the gtr and for flat spotting tyres in the 180 Here is some in-car for anyone who is interested. this is just in the 180 so far, but there will be more of the GTR and Tims. - it shakes the camera...Lastly, could these people please send me bank details: Juliette Remfrey Dillon Loos Ashneel Prusad Elizabeth Corr
