  1. Odds are anyone who had one freely able to share such a dyno plot would have put it in there, and would need to do some searching to find such a result.
  2. Fortunately it is a drift car
  3. This is on an SR20VE perhaps, but still - I am officially quite impressed with the GTX3076R now.... 477kw on 30psi running E85: http://www.shredmotorsport.co.nz/2012/sr20vet-results-and-the-truth-about-dyno-corrections/
  4. Out of interest, a local workshop here have done a built SR20VE+T using a GTX3076R and tuned it to 30psi and made a fairly impressive 477kw @ hubs with it. When given a bit of shite about dyno setting fiddling they gave a bunch of info on how they ran it so people can scrutineer it for themselves. Looksy here: http://www.shredmotorsport.co.nz/2012/sr20vet-results-and-the-truth-about-dyno-corrections/
  5. Was yours a T67 as well?
  6. I would have thought that is realistic/respectable for an SR20. Lag is as you'd expect somewhere between a GT3076R and a GT3582R.
  7. From the Supra world: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?680955-10.5-1-CR-numbers
  8. 700wkw on what fuel and for what use?
  9. The cylinder pressure spike would be (if it is a good simulation) detonation - that'd be due to being octane limited. Cylinder pressure would go up exponentially if you went driving past the point of being knock limited on the mission for more power, but gaining power using controlled combustion should not be anywhere near exponential.
  10. I am aware of that, I wasn't asking about what to buy - but if it sounded like a familiar symptom. It's not my car so I don't have the freedom of going and messing with it whenever I want, I was just asking people who may have experienced it if it sounded like the kind of thing they see... buying a trigger setup like that would be pointless if there is no triggering issue at all and it turned out to be cam timing/something else related. The owner of the car doesn't have heaps of money to throw around to fix it, otherwise he'd probably just drop it off to Speedtech and get them to make it good.
  11. Hi guys, a mate (not on this forum) has an issue with their Skyline running an R34 sourced RB25DET - the car is running a G4 Link and can get sporadic detonation at points from around 5000rpm up running no more than 12degrees timing on 1bar of boost with high 11:1 AFRs, this thread makes me wonder if this issue could be occurring and causing the intended timing to become much much more than intended timing?
  12. Pics or it didn't happen.
  13. What were you using to "model" different engine setups? My understanding is (no doubt could be wrong... but I'd like to be convinced on that fact) that it actually doesn't increase exponentially at all. I would have thought it would take no time to blow a motor up when increasing power if it did. There are ways of gaining torque without (or hardly) increasing peak cylinder pressure.
  14. Keen to see threads relating to this - thought you never actually got a GT3076R running properly on one of your cars (and not because of failure)?
  15. Just because it seems it can be months between Sub Boy's posts (sorry Chris if you pop back in soon) his car is on 98, and 20psi was a limit they hit with the internal wastegate setup.
  16. Fair enough, will be interesting to see how the 6262 is as there (like the S300) seem to be mixed results for them too in terms of response.
  17. How did this go??
  18. What fuel are you intending on running? What displacement will the engine be, and what kind of dyno are you aiming at 500kw @ wheels on? A mate is running Jun 280deg with 11.35mm lift (and a reasonable amount of headwork) on intake and exhaust on a stock stroke RB26 with the same turbo you are running - with that setup it is making 1bar (on the dyno) at around 6000rpm and "over 500rwkw" on pump gas and while it takes some time to get wound up, the car is surprisingly responsive once the engine and turbo are on steam - though the engine really wants 8000+rpm to give its best. Unless you have an RB30 in there I can't see you making full boost near 5,500rpm.
  19. Is it a .63?
  20. For some reason I thought some VG30 turbos came with "16V 12" on the comp cover, could be wrong - long time since I worried about these units. Compare the turbine housings on the R33 turbo and the 16V turbo...
  21. This should be interesting Keen for results!
  22. Please tell me you are pulling the rpm/boost levels to justify that crazy a turbo combination on an RB28!! I can imagine that taking a little winding up
  23. Traction doesn't tend to have a big effect on trap speeds until it is actually an extended smokey skid
