  1. Why would you want another R34? They sold series 7 here so no you can't import them either.
  2. http://www.j-spec.com.au Note you can only import Series VIII FDs which means the cost will be $30,000+
  3. FTO Version R is a direct competitor to the Integra Type-R. I've driven a FTO GPX and it's a really great NA drive - the steering is more than precise. With the FTOs level of power, torque steer is non-existent. Also, I'm pretty sure the FTO would be cheaper for insurance.
  4. Spotted NIK-57L silver R34 GT sedan in Picadilly parking lot tonight in the city.
  5. Basically the arguments go: Bigger diameter = less sidewall flex in tyre = better handling. Bigger width = more traction and more power put down to the road due to increased tyre area = better launches/acceleration.
  6. Just how uncomfortable were the default spring rates?
  7. Spotted Beer Baron buying stuff at Coles on Saturday night, and also his Soarer parked outside, in the loading zone area.
  8. See: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=83883&hl=
  9. So your car can sound like a certain 3 foot tall robot.
  10. The wheels shown on Tempe Tyres website are more often than not replicas of JDM wheels. They are going to be more heavy and suffer an inferior finish/quality compared to wheels made by the more popular Japanese wheel manufacturers. Finally, if you get the package, it means that the tyres that come in the pacakage are low end Falken tyres (ZE326s) which offer very poor levels of grip both in wet and dry conditions.
  11. non Brembos I think What would be the difference in fitting either on?
  12. Hi all Quick question Without considering the diameter, will 350Z rotors fit R33 GTS-t? If the diameter is different, what will need to be done to the R33 calipers to fit? (assuming wheels are large enough for the larger rotors).
  13. I have the Type2 style
  14. I have one and I cannot fault its performance. Quality of the piping could be better though, and you may require some modification of either the kit or your car parts to fit properly (eg in the R33 some trimming of the radiator fan blades may be needed to fit the piping).
  15. Spotted FAY-80Y - R33 with a GT wing on top of the standard Series 1 spoiler...
  16. You can't replace the panel so you have to get the panel beaten out - or get a widebody kit at the rear to cover it up..
  17. Well there is now... :laughing-smiley-014:
  18. Why not put the stock one back on? Anyway my GReddy Type-S can be plumback and yes it makes the flutter sound - more to do with the FMIC than anything though.
  19. Just wondering would any of you consider this a true Skyline GTR?
  20. Because fhrx charge huge amounts - they are awesome but it'd be silly (and costly) to ask such a high end installer to do something as simple as a head unit install.
  21. Unless you DIY, you're not going to find much cheaper than that. http://www.nismo.com.au/ sell a plastic one without the use of a snorkel for $110.
  22. I had this problem during my install too. That thing is a replacement carbon canister compliance places give cars as I think they're required to replace the old one. Get a stock carbon canister (it should sit behind the passenger side headlight in a slot) and reroute the piping from the replacement carbon canister to the stock one. Edit: There's no need to make 2 threads about the same problem.
  23. Definition of overkill = asking fhrx to install a headunit.
