Shit if this offer was available when I got my FMIC I'd have paid $100 so I wouldn't have to either
A) Cut up my rad fan
B) Modify the piping brackets to fit the kit on without doing A)
Also my JJ kit has REALLY thin piping. When you knock it with your knuckles it feels like you could bend the piping with your fingers.
I want to see if the piping and fitting for the GReddy kits is as bad as the ones for the Hybrid/JJ/Generic kits...
I'd hate to see a step down for a reputable brand such as GReddy/Trust to have an instruction such as "Step5: Hack off this part of your radiator fan"
It's generally accepted the actual FMICs are the same quality that can handle the same amount of power but in my opinion the quality of the kits is reflected in the piping/fitting and not the FMIC itself.
If you run higher than stock boost, you will run rich at the top end (i.e high RPM).
By leaning it out at the top, you will make the car run better.
Not sure how it works on the old AFCs but on my SAFC2, I can set what RPM to start leaning out from.
The 2 door BMWs E36 & E46 coupes still look nice.
They are a step above in class (and build quality) so I'd choose that over the 318i sedans too.
Eg. Many E36 318i sedans I've seen aren't equipped with leather but nearly all E36 320i (lowest spec coupe) coupes I've seen come with leather.
Personally no but had a mate take his car to a well respected car audio installer (FHRX) and that's what they did to get rid of dash rattles.
Not sure on what foam/sponge they used.
Argg 1.8L pushing all that German weight
You will get frustrated at the lack of performance.
I advise you to go for a BMW with at least a 2.3L engine.
OR
Go an Audi - as good a build quality and more bang for buck when it comes to performance.
There is no such thing as a turbo R33 GTS-4
With the R32 GTS4 Nissan realised spec-wise it was abit too close to the GTR so in the R33 (and R34) they decided to make the GTS-4 non-turbo.
