If you look at just family sedans of course the styling will be conservative and trend-following. Remember what happened with the AU Falcon when Ford decided to be bold with the styling - yes it got shat on by everybody. Hard. Leave the out-of-bounds styling for the hot hatches and the sports cars please.

Problem (like someone has mentioned) is that the Bee-Rs are built for GTRs only so there is no way the 17x9 (+25) will fit under the front guards of a GTS-t. However, the Bee-R copies come in smaller rim sizes (17") with GTS friendly offset. That's the main reason people go for the copies.
