  1. Hey Adam I'll probably give up my spot. Don't think I'll be up for this.
  2. I used Castrol Transmax Z on my R33 auto. Works fine, with gear changes as good as they ever have been.
  3. Boost cut is the wrong term for it, as the 'cut' has nothing whatsoever to do with boost/pressure levels. The right term is "Rich and Retard" - do searching in the forum on this term instead of "boost cut" and you may find better, more technical answers, especially from Sydneykid. Basically when you turn up the boost on the RB25DET, your fuel/air mixtures will be very rich at the top end (down to AFR of 8-9). The ECU will then retard the engine as a reaction to overly rich fuel/air mixtures.
  4. Damn for a second I thought you taking the piss and talking about my car hahahaha
  5. Not to mention the latest Alfa Romeo hatch.
  6. Too bad he lost to a MotoX bike rider driving this Subaru : McRae rolled the car in the final round, giving gold to MotoX bike rider Travis Pastrana. Imagine that - a MotoX Bike Rider beats the one of the best rally drivers in the world at their own game. The yanks must now think "LOL OUR BIKE RIDER CAN BEAT SOME WRC GUY SO WRC SUCKS MAN"
  7. If you want to compare Japanese "performance" sedans compare: Skyline 350GT sedan Toyota Mark X Honda Euro-R Subaru Legacy B4 Mazda6 MPS vs the Holden Commodore SSs, Ford XR8/6Ts Also, the Accord (non-Euro) is built in Thailand but the Accord Euro is built in Japan.
  8. Tidbits of info: New HSVs are going to use 6.2L V8 There is a rumoured 'super-coupe' which will be released by Holden using the Corvette Z06's 7.3L beast engine. If so, this thing would seriously own all before it. =====
  9. Here is my summary of the race.... Jenson Button's PA is hawt.
  10. There are specialist wheel brushes you can use: http://www.meguiars.com/?wheel-tire-brushe...eel-Spoke-Brush
  11. You know what's worse There's this chick in Sydney who drives a R33 with the plates "TRD-33Y" Some people can be so clueless
  12. "What kind of mileage do you get in that thing?" "1 highway, 0 city."
  13. You should do a search as this issue has been covered an infinite number of times To answer your question, http://www.justjap.com sell a headlight cream which I've found works very well at getting rid of the yellowness - it comes back in a few months though, so you have to apply it periodically.
  14. They probably did and they had shit copying skills.
  15. lol wil humour
  16. Spotted a baby blue R33 with full Veilside kit and Hybrid FMIC on Blaxland Road this morning.
  17. I had similar issues with my auto R33 RB25DET. I would rev it to maybe 2500RPM (not much because this would happen in carparks etc) and if I let off the accelerator pedal it would stall or come close to stalling (power steering dies, battery light comes on) I noticed this happened until I fitted/tuned my SAFC2 and then these issues stopped so it definitely has something to do with the airflow reading. I had a pod on mine too - not sure if this was the problem.

  20. Happy birthday bu5terrrr Burnouts for the birthday boy
  21. That guy is a real hoon! Bet that was AB-94-KA (ecl on SAU forums).
  22. The actual intercoolers themselves will have very little difference on performance (unless you're chasing big big HP). Eg a Justjap FMIC will perform just as well as a Trust/ARC/HKS one. However, the difference is in the piping. JustJap and other Hybrid copies are notorious for the issues they have with fitting (eg trimming of the rad fan needed in R33s) whereas the JDM kits will be much easier to fit and require less modification to go in. Also, I've noticed that the Justjap FMIC piping is pretty thin compared to the brand name FMIC kit piping.
  23. The TVR looks beasty. Is that the new Lancia Stratos?
  24. Plastic cleaner from http://www.justjap.com/ Works a treat.
  25. Too bad then I guess.. Like I said, it's a deterrent - it's not a solution for car theft. Not sure how a car thief thinks, but they may have second thoughts about stealing a car which from the outside does not have a steering wheel. And if not in the car (under the seat/in the boot) where else would you put it if you detached the wheel? I wouldn't want to be carrying a Momo around when walking through a shopping mall for 3 hours
