  1. What suspension are you running and what's the ride/handling like at that heigh?
  2. What ever happened with that big fark-off wing you had made?
  3. Does that mean the injectors were the limiting factor in that tune Stao? Could the turbo flow more power? Obviously I would be using an aftermarket computer.
  4. All excellent feedback, and thanks Stao for the charts, they look great. So my next question is, what is the maximum kw you can expect stock RB25 injectors to reasonably flow. Obviously wouldn't want to run at 100% duty, hence the word 'reasonable'.
  5. Get a quality set of 12 point sockets. Or give up. This is the easiest job in the world.
  6. Take heaps of snapchat pictures of it and send it to all your friends. Get a gym membership. Buy protein. Obtain steroids. Buy breaker bar. Unbolt bolt. Job done.
  7. I know dat. But in my opinion, they're big and ugly, and similar in shape to jap plates.
  8. If you were trying to mimic the style of jap plates with those massive pieces of aluminium, I would've at least gotten them with green letters.
  9. ^Your results are pretty awesome, but a bit too involved than I'd like. Prefer a bolt-on turbo with internal gate.
  10. If you can build something which will match the factory boost curve/response, please PM the info Stao! I'd prefer a roller bearing CHRA too if possible!
  11. Yes!! And that's what I want! I've had a 270rwkw Skyline, and as fun as it was, it was more fun around town (where I drive most) with the stock turbo. Next to no lag, and enough power to have fun.
  12. I just sold my #hypergear highflow because it was too uneconomical for me to run. The power was great, but I don't need or want "20psi by 3400rpm". I can't afford the fuel costs or supporting mods to run 320rwkws. I literally want the little factory Garrett but with a metal turbine wheel, so I can run a measly 12-14psi and make a little over 220rwkws on PULP with a PowerFC. I want full boost at ~2500rpm like the stock turbo!
  13. As title says, what is the absolute most responsive aftermarket turbo available for an RB25? The factory turbo on R33's delivers great response and driveability and can deliver around 10psi of boost safely without spinning the ceramic turbine wheel off. If not for the ceramic turbine wheel, would I be correct in assuming that the factory turbo would be able to deliver roughly 14psi without losing efficiency, and make around 230rwkw? Is there a turbo with similar A/R's, trims etc to the factory Garrett but with steel/inconel/alloy wheels? If so name it please!
  14. No offense but that intercooler install is terrible. Not only does it look bad, but more importantly, how do you expect it to cool anything when half the surface area is obstructed by the front bar? You need to lower it about 3" and move it to the right about 3".
  15. Looks sick! Now please lower it... just a cm lower will make a world of difference, especially to the front..
  16. It appears to have QLD plates/rego??
  17. Cut & shut VN wagon/ute... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1989-HOLDEN-VN-COMMODORE-CUSTOM-WAGON-UTE-/181480036889?nma=true&si=oUAQ7rQGoebGW7EPK5J%252Bxyi4CMg%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 #strayla
  18. In all honesty; it's a tyre shop, and while I know of several well-educated, honest people in the trade, the majority are always going to be f*ckwits with little care for their job or others. I thought this was already a well known characteristic of this industry.
