Independent Oil Test Must View Before You Buy Oil
colourclassic replied to pol1on1's topic in General Maintenance
Running Royal Purple at the moment, glad to see its good wear properties! Not surprised by Motul's low wear rating. I have used it in several of my bikes in the past (Motul 5100 and 7100) and it has consistently made them run worse (more cam noise and vibration) than using other brands such as Amsoil and Siloklene. -

Gonna paint the bay? That chassis rail also looks a bit worse for wear. Gonna give the car some love or is it all engine? -

Mate's S15 was stolen this morning from Fitzroy of all places. Car was driven away/hotwired. Lock up your shit/don't park it on the street.

Car looks great. After having it for a while, how do you find the car's power delivery and driving characteristics at this power level? Would it be tolerable for a daily? -
Bilstein B6 Dampers and King Springs 'Lows' to suit R33 Skyline. Bilsteins were imported from Germany new and have travelled less than 5,000km. I had a new set of lower grooves machined in them (done by Quadrant Suspension) to allow a degree of height-adjustability. King Springs were purchased new and have travelled less than 5,000km. Strut tops can be included at a small extra cost, or use your own. Suspension is in 100% perfect operating order. Absolutely nothing dodgy here: no knocks, leaks, noises etc. Asking $850 or swap for quality, base-heigh adjustable coilovers in excellent condition. Pickup from Melbourne. This is how they sit on my R33 for reference:
