  1. weren't those wheels on drift sales the other day lol
  2. Do the coilovers use pillow ball upper spring retainers? If there is play or movement there it could cause noise on road undulations under braking and cruise.
  3. Will also swap for R34 GT-R's with or without tyres.
  4. So ZCS is designed to be applied over wax? Does that mean you shouldn't wax the car once it is applied?
  5. Which strut tops would you recommend? Link?
  6. Get on Drift Sales on FB, someone will have one for sure.
  7. I've heard decent stuff about Collinite 476, maybe I'll try that. I'm not into paying $100's on detailing products. Just want something decent and durable.
  8. Ride is really good, and they're not so low that they scrape on everything. I had them for sale but had to keep them as another deal fell through. Actually for sale now.
  9. Bilstein B6 Dampers and King Springs 'Lows' to suit R33 Skyline. Bilsteins were imported from Germany new and have travelled less than 8,000km. I had a new set of lower grooves machined in them (done by Quadrant Suspension) to allow a degree of height-adjustability. King Springs were purchased new and have travelled less than 8,000km. Ready to bolt in including strut tops, new dust boots and bump stops. Suspension is in 100% perfect operating order. No leaks and more than happy for any inspection. $700 Pickup only from Melbourne. Can deliver to Metro Melbourne for a small fee. 0411 582 453 This is how they sit on my R33 for reference:
  10. Just and update, I remove a front dust boot and reinstalled the strut into the car. On level ground there is about 1cm of travel between the (shortened) bump stop and the shock body. That is with King Spring lows and a 1cm lower slot in the spring perch. So I guess I have been bottoming out on everything larger than a pebble lol. Time for some base-height adjustable coil overs.
  11. It's not even that low. Sexy as f&ck.
  12. From my understanding, waxes (usually carnauba based) can be expected to last 2-4 weeks on average, before needing to be reapplied. They offer a deep shine and lustre. Sealants on the other hand can last much longer, are synthetic compounds, and don't offer as much shine, but don't have to be applied as often. My car is kept under a UV protecting shade, but rain water still gets through, meaning the car gets dirty pretty often, so washing is necessary every 1-2 weeks. I also get hard-water etching the clear coat which I'd like to stop from happening. Wax seems to only last 2 weeks for me before it loses its water-beading properties, and it's a drainer to apply it all the time (takes 2hrs at least). Can anyone give me some advice on sealants which won't break the bank, and offer good long-lasting protection. If it's an OTC product that would be a bonus.
  13. Yea I want CST Zero 1 Hyper but in a slightly more aggressive size (18x9.5 +23) and not sure how much front end work is required.
  14. Do you have the front guard liners installed at that height? Guards rolled?
  15. I installed them myself and they definitely have around 8cm or more of droop with the spring captive. I'm starting to think a bush or two have had it.
  16. I don't wanna mess with the guard liner/front guards because a) it looks shit when it's missing and b) shit gets into the quarter behind the wheel. I'd rather just leave it untouched.
  17. Yes they will fit or yes the guards need rolling.
  18. Brand: Work Model: XD9 Tyres: Yes. 225/40 KU36 and 235/40 595SS. 80%+ tread. PCD: 5x114.3 Diameter / Width / Offset: 18x9 +30F and 18x10 +38R Location: Melbourne Willing to Ship: No Price: $1900 or $1600 without tyres. Willing to Swap: CST Zero 1 Hyper in 18x9.5 +23 or +15 Wheels are in excellent condition. Bought new about a year ago. Pickup from Melbourne only.
  19. Quick question: Will 18x9.5 +23 fit the front of an R33 without rolling or removing the splash guards? Looking at running either 225/40 or 235/40. I've got no issue with rolling the rear guards but I don't want to mess up the front. Car sits with about 2-3cm between tyre and arch so not super low. Currently running 18x9 +30 with no scrubbing at all.
  20. Quadrant is good.
