Sounds very interesting. I thought that XR6 combo would be quite laggy even for your 3lt but as long as you have done all the homeworks and with nice tune it should bring impressive result (easy 300rwkw)

Mine: * Final Fanasy 7: most involving and memorable rpg ever and arguably the best game on PS1. I've played the game 3 times (roughly 60 hrs each!! sad I know) And it's still the only rpg that I wouldn't mind start playing all over again. * Metal Gear Solid: this game pretty much pushed the console to its limit and from what I could remember most magazines and websites around the world have vote for it as the best game for PS1. * Xenogear: another Square game like FF7 but this game wasn't released locally so the only way to play it is with the US version. Very nice sprite & 3D graphics, deep story line and was actually considered controversial since it made reference to religions. However I wouldn't play through the game again coz it involves something like 30 hrs of text reading . . . * Ridge Racer Type 4, Ace Combat 3 & Tekken 3: Why those 3 games together? Simple! They are all from Namco & anything Namco touchs will turn into gold!! Tekken 3 needs no introduction coz it was one of the most popular games in arcade back then, had countless hours just learning all characters' moves. Ridge Racer 4 & Ace Combat 3 I would personally say have the most efficient program codes in them! You feel like playing cartridge games rather than typical loading screen plagued PS1 titles. Forget Gran Tourismo 2, RR4 is the best looking racer in PS1. * Resident Evil & Silent Hill: 2 of the best survival horrors out there. RE will make you wee in pants with shocking moments (the infamous dogs jump out of window scene) while Silent Hill is just distrubingly creepy (so many nightmares just from playing this game!!) You don't want to play these games with the lights off! Trust me. *Gran Tourismo 2: didn't like the graphic but since I'm posting on this forum better get it mentioned before getting flamed Also few other games that deserve the runner up : * Vagrant Story: the very strict Famicom magazine in Japan gave it 10/10. I like the graphic but not too impress with the gameplay and story. * Dino Crisis: Felt like playing a Jurassic Park game with excellent graphic but game play too similar to Resident Evil. * Pro Evolution Soccer (?) not sure about the name but it was the best soccer game on PSX, yes much better than the ice-skating FIFA series * Street Figher Alpha 1 & 2: 2D sprite goodness & Street Figher EX 1 & 2: super combo madness!!! Well thats all the list for now, I probably have missed a few but since they are not that memorable thats why they couldn't make it here So many good old times, starting to miss my little grey box now . . .

how much was the gain from the rb20 unit? I'm thinking of doing a highflow with VG30 housing for my rb25 but not sure would get substantial gain to justify the $2K tag

Agree with the 2 posts above. Most likely caused from hot air running through your engine. By the way was imagining a natural reaction from the lady passenger having hot air coming underneath would be to put her feet up on the dash

Rb25 Turbo Upgrade, All Dyno Results
JeeTeeEss25Tee replied to Nacho Vidal's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Have done the tune for awhile now but forgot to add on this sticky thread. Anyway, here are the mods and dyno sheet: - Stock ECU - TrueFlo panel filter (same as K&N) - X-Force turbo back 3" exhause - Hybrid copy FMIC - 500hp fuel pump - TurboTech bleed valve (from forum) - SAFC - Turbo: was told by Matt (Hitman) that it could be a R34 one coz made abit more power than stock R33 turbo with similar mods with the above mods it made 212rwkw @ about 12 psi without SAFC and at 9 psi it pushed 179 rwkw -
I've had couple of services done at UAS and I would say most of the time jobs are done professionally and reliably. If you have your import serviced for the first time, UAS would defenitely be a good place for peace of mind. I'm however currently on a budget so can't really afford to have my car serviced there any more (not that what they charge is that bad). I now take my car to Nathan @ Grey Import as alot other fellow SAUers recommended and couldn't be happier with Nathan's experiences and those extra personal touch (in merchanical works ofcourse )

You can get a decent full 3" exhaust brand such as X-Force at local exhaust shops for around $1100 to $1200 fitted. Spend the savings from Jap brand for mods that give you good gains (bleed valves, ecu/piggy backs) And I don't believe there are big power difference with Jap brand, other than sounds.

What Colours Your R33
JeeTeeEss25Tee replied to tezflow's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Very nice choice. But looks like u had to spend a sh!t load just for the respray. Should gain at least extra 50kw@w just from the colour -

I found a good cheap boost controller for $22!!!
JeeTeeEss25Tee replied to CEF11E's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeah Matt is da man when it comes to SAFC, his bread & butter. Regarding ur boost I think usually car make most power at 2nd or 3rd gear. Or it could be the cam...The turbotech itself isnt the only thing that affect the boost. Probly check hoses for anything possible boost leak first
